The villain and hero have the same backstory-pain. The villain says "The world hurt me, and I'm going to hurt it back." The hero says "The world hurt me, and I'm not going to let it hurt anyone else." Heroes use pain, villains are used by it. Alex Hormozi

Young black men and women today, are being taught that they are oppressed and marginalized in this country and that the US is a systemically racist country, filled with white people who oppress them at every opportunity. They're basically told that they have no chance to make anything of themselves because people who possess what they call "white privilege" will never let them. Those beliefs are wrong, but CRT has been in our public school system for at least 2 decades now and that's exactly what it teaches. The left and their lapdogs in the media also perpetuate the lie, as do the music and the entertainment industries along with progressive politicians. It is deliberate and has been used to foment racial division on a massive scale. I'm not trying to plug any particular person or group by saying this, but Matt Walsh's new film "Am I Racist" shows exactly what's going on in our country, all to keep the spector of systemic racism alive and well. I know for a fact that these attitudes did not exist when my parents were growing up in the 70s and it wasn't like this when I was growing up in the 90s. (I'm pretty sure this won't even post because of the beliefs held by the people who run this platform. They despise truth, because it doesn't fit the narratives that they, as progressives, are also pushing to the masses. I'm going to give it a shot, anyway)

My husband’s brother, David, suffered severe brain damage from forceps during childbirth. His IQ is low, he’s partially paralyzed on the right side of his body and is extremely anxious. He’s not able to really have a coherent conversation, but listens. His father raised him as if he was able bodied. If the kids had to shovel snow, he had to get out there with one arm and contribute to the best of his ability. He went through high school and was able (with proper classes,) to achieve a high school diploma. Upon graduating, he worked 30 years, never missing one day at Wendy’s as the “fry guy”…he made French fries. I visited his apartment and it was extremely orderly. Everything was clean and organized. His closest was organized by type and color. His bed was made. Every day he gets up, showers, shaves (electric razor,) dresses himself in khakis and a golf shirt tucked in with a belt. Imo he is the absolute best version of what he could be and I do believe he hit the lottery with the family he was born in. I was born into a wealthy family and I have a younger brother who had every opportunity in life. He may not have been brilliant, but he was never educated because he was ignored and passed through the school system because of who his family was. His life is a constant struggle with addiction and depression and victim hood due to a corrupted mind set and poor parenting. His apartment is a complete disaster, he can’t cope with taking care of himself. It’s a mindset. If the world feels sorry for you and ignores teaching you lessons on adulthood, you become the eternal victim regardless of money and opportunities. I don’t even believe I escaped the victim mindset completely. The best thing that ever happened to me was being born a female. For some reason both of my parents were harder on me for it and I don’t understand why? Also, I am a mother. I had to grow up really fast to care for my sons and was forced to focus on them instead of me. They saved my life. I’m definitely not the best version of myself, however I am, at the very least, AWARE of the pitfalls of victim hood. It’s very hard to see your own role in the reasons your life is the way it is when there’s always been an option to blame someone or something else. Knowing there are people like David in this world makes it harder to play the victim card.

The guy was nearly crying at the end... I'm Polish, live in a 15k town out in the polish boonies, never spoken to a black person, got no beef with any and got no stakes in the race discourse, mostly prevalent in the USA. So I, as an onlooker, don't focus as much on the skin color, more on the psychological aspects of the subject at hand cause at the end of the day, black, white, man, woman, gay or straight we are pretty much the same human beings with our psychology differing very little. Believe or not, I'm well acquainted with victim mentality and it's quirks. I grew up in noticably worse conditions than others around me and it took me a lot of self-reflection, understanding and work to eventually get rid of mine. If I had to admit to any darker emotion in relation to black people in america, it's annoyance born from pure jelaousy - I had to exert a significant effort to get out of victim mentality and they not only get to keep theirs, get praised for it but can also create a community around it and demand from the rest of society to enforce it. But I understand, oh hell, wish I didn't. It's almost like drug dependancy in psychological form - that cozy, sweet, pleasant feeling, that none of your failures are your own fault. But that's not enough, oh no... After a while and a few more failures born out of your unwillingness to act, you start looking for something more than just your poor circumstances to justify your victimhood. Your parents, your teachers, your partners, social groups, societal groups, politicians, illuminati and Santa, who didn't bring you any presents. Anything will do. And after a while your condition evolves. Parents, techers, partners and society OWE you for all the failures they (in your head) bestowed upon you. While it's been not your fault, it's now also not your job to deal with your shitty life, because none of it came from you. So you sit and wait for the world, that wronged you, to make it up to you. I was lucky. Lucky to be born with that bit of intelligence required to notice, it was a road to an early grave or at least a life in a cardboard shack. Lucky enough to be blessed with friends, who didn't pat me on the back after every litany of my problems. And also lucky to be born in Poland rather than USA, because that way I got to be alone in my victimhood, no likeminded individuals enforced my belief and every contact with society at large sent me signals, that no one cared and if I didn't do something about my life, no one would. Not gonna say, it was an easy process tho... took quite a while... So I get why the guy was nearly crying at the end... He was getting his lifeline ripped out of his hands by sound arguments. The one that shielded him from the horrid realisation, that society owes him nothing, world owes him nothing and no person in the world other than him is responsible for his life. Just like it's the case for all the rest of us. None of us is the main character of the story of humanity. Even Paris Hilton isn't, no matter her view on the matter. She can walk on the sidewalk and a loose brick can fall on her head just like everyone else. So in my opinion that's the biggest issue Black Americans are having today. In the name of widespread victim mentality they actively refuse to participate in the society as a whole, a thing their recently freed ancestors would cry tears of joy if they could do, waiting for said society to compensate them for the failures it bestowed upon them. There are of course other factors, but this would be the main one. Even worse, they are pulling down those amongst them who do participate, because successfull black small bussiness owner speaks against blacks being disadvantaged. Sad part is, even knowing all that is not gonna change much. As I already stated, leaving that mentality behind is not an easy feat, especially if there are those who try to pull you right back in... The landslide has to be way bigger, so far only a few stones started rolling with black people like the one in the vid and @MrLBoyd here noticing the problem and speaking out on it. And for those of you, who managed to read all this shit up to this point and you happen to be a balck american, one piece of fruit for thought as a parting gift - for the rest of the world, Poland included, black or white you are just americans to us.

This is why we judge people as individuals and not collectives. A 200 year head start? No. Nobody is 200 years old. Nobody had that kinda' head start. And even if they did, it wouldn't matter. Because nobody except maybe your parents can hold you back. ...and even that power expires when you're 18 years old. "We were never given boots to begin with." Good. My best friend, god rest his soul, was black. There wasn't one single thing we didn't have friendly rivalry over, not grades, not sports, not women, and not lifestyle. He could do everything I could just as well as me and vice versa. His dad, again god rest his soul, miss you too pops, used to take all of us, the close group of friends and he'd sit down and lay things out straight for us. He would have went off on the guy on the right. Damn AJ, Pops, wish you guys were still here. Ants shouting "oh heck no" before a joke or pops (big mike) talking to us like "boy, what do you know about basketball?" Then he'd go all in on it. Or any serious topic. But my point is, Big mike (pops) came from Chicago during the 60/70s. He knew what real discrimination was. And I don't mean the random AH we have now but where it was ok as a society to be that way against black americans. He would never, ever ever ever let any of his family or us "adopted" kids play the victim card. He'd always remind us "yeah. That's bad, but what are you going to do? Just give up? If they don't think you're good enough, F them. But don't go proving them right by giving up before you try?" FWIW we came from the Rez, Navajo Nation area. Most of my family and friends are diné (navajo), but the odd ducks, who were of other heritage sort of bonded together a lot cause there weren't many of us. I'd say 85% Native, 8% white, 4% hispanic, and 3% other including black. I'm blessed to have came up where I come from cause white people are a minority in the area too. But we don't get the same preferential hiring, scholarships, or anything like that here. That's helped give me a unique experience compared to most other people who share my skin tone in the nation. It's also why I dislike the "savior" and "victim" types. The saviors have no clue but try to meddle anyways. The victims have no true saviors but have all of these well intentioned but ill-informed people ruining their mindset getting them to give up before they try. People don't need a hand out, they need a hand up. Not everyone who says they are your friend actually are and not everyone you deem to be an enemy is actually out to get you. The road to He|l is paved with good intentions.

Be the example not part of the problem. I'm not black nor white, but my problems are mine alone and I don't blame others for things that happen in the past. Great video

I can tell he had a father He just didn’t listen to him his mom is raising him. We can definitely build as a whole. But unfortunately it’s US that wants see each other fail because they don’t have what you’re working for.

The original question was When was America great? Not When was America perfect? I think he actually was asking the second question?

Dude's in a University, and he's a victim. Guess what, skin color ain't the "club", $'s the club. And most of US ain't in it.

Funny how everyone that complains about how bad they have it will never leave this country 😂 this is infact the BEST they will ever have it. And he goes, who is teaching us how to make money etc.? And boyd said it..you grew up with INTERNET and you have schools where you can learn things and ask questions. If you dont know something its your fault!! Also its very frustrating hearing dumb people make arguements...especially when they are ignorant to learn also.

Officer Tatum is a former police officer and a conservative speaker (and proud Trump supporter). He's got a great channel.... How's your opinion on Trump, Mr.Lboyd? Still not good?🇺🇲

This young man talking to Brandon is lighting himself on fire just to keep others warm. He's not motivated to improve his own well-being, nor does he understand that his success could help others. He should understand that if he needs to *hire* someone to help his business grow (obviously very intelligent), he's helping others. Hopefully, he'll eventually catch on.

And he says he has a 3.7 without studying...4.3 in high school...look, I am a college dropout, I have problems with learning and always have...but he considers me priveledged...it's kind of funny actually, I am on rice and beans these days.

At first I could not stand that kid! As it went on I got the feeling that he may not be terrible. If he was raised by his parents to do what he’s supposed to do, and worked to obtain a 4.0 in high school and now 3.6 in college, I’d bet he has a fairly solid foundation, but it being tested by peers in college. He’s probably being told any “not white” ( whatever that means) is owed things for history, and because he had what sounds like a decent upbringing, he needs to take up the plight of those wronged history. Very sad, I hope he’s granted his moment of clarity as he gets older.

You don't know who Brandon Tatum is!? Bruh, you have a rabbit hole to go down now haha. When he says he wishes people would teach him, I'm white and didn't get taught shit about investing or saving money. I grew up poor, so we never invested in anything when I was young. I bought a few books on actual investing over the years and now my wife and I have a very strong portfolio for retirement. It is all self-taught my guy. You just have to find the right avenues for you individual learning abilities. Great video as always
