@Emery Marcus Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

One of the amazing things about this series is how the female dancers have a normal healthy looking weight. It doesn't look like they are struggling to be unrealistically thin.

I was expecting the "arabesque penche" - a very difficult arabesque variant. It means "arabesque leaned" in French. In this arabesque, you do something like a 2nd or 3rd arabesque, but now, the upper body is now at an angle towards the ground - 45 to 50 degrees, and the straight leg then goes up to a 45 degree angle above the head (but it can be raised to up to 70 degrees in relation to the floor depending on the ballet' dancer's flexibility of the back, hips, and torso.

KuukiHoi I’m pretty sure since abt created it they use mostly vaganova. But they give examples of all styles in the video except school of American ballet (Balanchine technique)

Is the "croise devant" position also used in the 1st arabesque (also known as "arabesque en terre")?
