All of the body builds have been great...traditional and what we would expect to see in a rod build. This video explained sooooo much more to me and I think I can finally see what they're getting at with all the wires and electronics etc. wow. Great vision, Tim.

My uncle Richie said you’re welcome for painting 🖼 and sending it on the very last day of last man standing and in my own opinion you are the real buzz lightyear voice actor and also home improvement and last man standing too. Huge compliment from my family to yours. My uncle Richie aka richard said I hope you enjoy 😉 your painting on the last day of last man standing.

Haven’t watched in a while! What happened to the cool looking 2 motor set up under the hood? What happened to Bodie the guy that started it! Would have been cool with a Godzilla in it.

several high performance custom e cars have been built and are reliable and are being operated for their intended use. this build is a mix of EGO and incompetence. let someone else with the experience finish it already . If I was paying for this project I would be appalled or in court, however litigation wont get it finished . sad as it appears it started out with good intentions . PS I am NOT a fan of Tim Allen he is an arrogant jerk away from the camera.

It's partially Tim's fault it's not done. He wanted Bodie to build a Carter electric motor system. He found out after Bodie was almost done that the Carter system wouldn't work. So Tim is having a new crew install a Tesla system.

Why couldn't you adapt an altinator to the drive shaft to charge the batteries while rolling down the road? It could be adapted behind the transmission before the drive shaft. The altinator would some how be modified with a straight through rotor shaft to connect with the drive shaft and casing mounts on the transmission to hold it in place. That would help with keeping a 12 volt charge for the computer brain.

The CCU "Combined Charging Unit" takes care of that part. No need to complicate things with unnecessary mechanical items.

As a lifelong builder/racer I feel like you're falling prey to what the kiddos call the "Boomer mentality" where advanced technology means the car has no "soul". The only thing I personally find lacking in electric vehicles is the awesome combustion engine sound, but a lot of electric builders are using straight cut gears in the trans or adding cooling fan noise into the mix to somewhat give you the same kind of aural sensation that you get from a great sounding exhaust. If you haven't felt the instant torque associated with a fast EV, then you owe it to yourself to try it out.

At what point in the 10-year build and every idiot touching it do you realize that you made a huge mistake and should just put a gas engine in it and would have been enjoying driving it all this time!!!!!!!

After seeing a LOT of EVs blowing up and burning uncontrollably on newsreels - I would have a huge problem knowing I was sitting right on top of those batteries that have been known to blow out - literally. Nope. You couldn't pay me enough to even ride in a car where I'm sitting on top of those things. PLEASE Tell me ya'll changed that design and Tim won't be riding ala, Dr. Strangelove, on something that could go Kablooey!
