I met Craig Nicholls a few times....(I was in a shitty band that used to be on about 4 bands before these guys) ... you'll never meet someone more obsessed with music....he doesnt really talk to anyone much ...he is either sitting in a corner strumming and writing or recording down idea's on a little four track he carries around. Or listening to other bands he likes on headphones ....or playing onstage( which I think he didn't really enjoy) . He would bypass a room full of hot groupies after playing ,all gunning for him ...to get to a guitar and a quiet corner and continue creating music...that's all I ever saw him do. He was pretty nice dude....very shy and a bit odd( I knew he had aspergers). He was obsessed with beach boys and their harmonies. And also Beatle harmonies. And I never saw him eat cause he was too busy making and recording music...I guarantee he would be strummingv a guitar right now

Do the guys in this band know how much they influenced obscure/indie/hardcore/garage/lo fi rock bands? I mean, everyone loved these guys in the last years of the 2000's, they were strange, underground, dirty, but also stylish, desirable by the girls and cool, the kind of guys that would talk about soccer in one room with FIFA players, then talk about death with emo kids in the bathroom and then get laid upstairs with some random blonde. Long live The Vines!

He doesn't have aspergers, peeps. If he truly had it, he would be way too uncoordinated to do the things he did in this music video. Unless he has a stunt double or something. Stuff on the spectrum is neurological, the assertion that High Functioning Autistics are "socially retarded" is a myth. Social development is not something that is predetermined, it is something that is learned. The bad coordination is predetermined. The connection between High Functioning Autistics and being socially retarded is due to the their parents/caretakers sheltering them and society shaming them/stereotyping them for being "senselessly arrogant people who are really good at computer programming or engineering." If society tells you that you are something and your parents/authority figures agree with it and shelter you, of course you are gonna have really bad social intuition.
