I broke up with my boyfriend, I still can’t believe it. It feels like a nightmare I want to wake up from quickly. I gave my entire self to this person, but he didn’t have enough love to give. Our breakup happened so fast; we were perfectly fine that Thursday morning, but by the afternoon, a conversation led us to part ways. My legs are trembling, and my eyes burn. I just want to wake up fast. Is this real? We loved each other so much. I’ll never forget this boy; he was my first boyfriend. We met when I was 14, and we became a couple a few months later. Today, September 20, 2024, we’re both 17, and I still can’t forget that June 29, 2022, when I asked him if he wanted to be my boyfriend. We listened to The Strokes together; I told him they’re my favorite band, and he ended up liking them too. He got so into the world of music, and I’m happy that he took something from me. He was always a very serious and not very affectionate guy, but when we were alone, he was so sweet with me. His friends became my friends too, and his family welcomed me like another member. I’ll always be hurt by his name, "Danilo." Oh, my sweet boy, I love you and always will. We lived so much in such a short time. I miss you with all my heart. You’ll always live in a part of me. I wish you the best, and thank you for everything. How do you heal a broken heart? I’ve never experienced this before; no one taught me how to act. They just tell you that time will heal it, and maybe that’s true. But why am I so sensitive? I never asked to be this way. Thank you to The Voidz and Julian Casablancas for always being with me, in every song and every moment with my boy.
