I’ll never forget the first time hearing this on a SHITTY Toyota Land Cruiser radio on the drive home from a gold mine about 20 years ago while thinking “the drummer is certainly earning his paycheque on this track”

that feeling when you're 40 years old and you had a very, very tumultuous time in your 20s and then you forget about an album that was pivotal to your time living and partying in NYC as a 21 year old with an unstable identity and then you hear the first bars of one of the songs and suddenly you can smell the perfume you used to wear, with an undernote of the cigarettes you used to smoke and you can taste the drip in your throat from all the cocaine you were doing

Learnt the song from Colin McRae Dirt 2 , have played and sang it live once with a band in my university. This is a very powerful song , and very nostalgic . I even had it as a ringtone for a while !

Hoje tenho 42 anos. Procurei por essa música já fazem uns 15 anos. Não lembrava o nome da banda, nem a música. Mas o que essa música causou em mim na primeira audição me impactou! Escutei em uma rádio, à noite, na praia. Nunca, nunca saiu da minha cabeça!

chorus chords he plays are f#minor and e-major, but he does not play chords. it's a riff and I don't know how to transcribe tabs to yt comments. he plays only 3 strings, 2nd, 3rd and 4th, actually.
