I subscribe to Judy's KZitem channel as well. Love hearing her memories of the episodes and stories and interviews with the other cast members. What a joy it would be if one of the cast members from many of the other beloved shows from the past would do the same thing. There's so many questions and so much we are eager to learn. I'm a big fan of Mama's Family. It would be great if you could interview Vickie Lawrence and maybe others from the cast one day, particularly Eric Brown and Karen Argoud too. They were regulars in the first two seasons, but they rarely get mentioned and never get interviewed about the show. It would be nice to hear what they have to say. Keep up the great work on your channel!!

Great interview. You did what Charles Kuralt used to do: Let the interviewee talk. Charles never let himself be part of the intervew. He deliberately tried to keep out. So many other interviewers interject themselves into the story and often answer their own questions so the interviewee simply responds with a nod. Your as good as Charles Kuralt.

I think the whole point of working on a quilt was so the person who the quilt was for, could later look at the quilt and know they were well loved. As long as you know how to hold a needle and thread it, you can join the quilt in progress. Everyone's stitches are different. So the finished product contains everyone's "signature".

It's always a treat to watch you, John, as you lift everyone's spirits, and Judy, well she's got a special place in my heart. I'll watch this again and take notes as I believe I might have something to contribute. Thanks, John! Judy announced she will not be on her KZitem channel for a week or two, so it was nice to get my "Judy fix" for this week via That's Classic! Like you, Judy is great at responding to viewer comments on her channel. For example, she appreciated it when I let her know you had just interviewed Michael Learned on your channel. Regarding other potential interview subjects from '60s and '70s programming, Larry Mathews (Ritchie Petrie) of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" could be fun. Also, Shelley Fabares would be great. Of course, she's also married to Mike Farrell of "M*A*S*H fame. I also am a big fan of "Daniel Boone" with the late Fess Parker, so Darby Hinton (Israel Boone) would be a treat for me as well. Finally, how about Karen Valentine from "Room 222"? Thanks, and take care!

Loved Mary Ellen/ Judy... I could relate with her .. I was the oldest girl of 6 children and I remember being very careful with my clothes knowing that the clothes would be passed down to my sisters. I am still very fussy about my clothes though my sisters dont need my clothes and would laugh because I grew up to be a small petite lady ..about 85-90,pounds and 5 ft 3 inches. Always been this way ny whole life and drs have finally gave up telling me to gain weight . Its very hard to gain even a pound. !! Anyways couldnt go see John boy / Richard Thomas when the play came to Detroit area last month. Broke my heart but couldn't afford it at all . Once in a lifetime and I missed it. I am truly broken hearted ..he was my favorite person on show along w Michael L and Judy Norton... I love to Kill a Mockingbird book and I know Richard is playing Atticus Finch perfectly..he just fits the role so perfectly. I have tried to follow him all these years and always felt like I was part of the family and wish I had such a closeness to my grandparents! Keep up the good work. I watch your podcast.
