Thank you Dom. Somebody finally noticed that the Rockets would have to gut their roster to sign LeBron. Then, they already have to pay Harden 40 million. After that, CP3 is gonna want a max contract as the final contract of his career. Also, the Suns said they will offer Capella a max contract so that’s even more money to pay if they match. They would literally have no bench because LeBron is not taking less than 20 million. You saw what happened in Miami when LeBron was the only one not to sacrifice any money.
@billybobmontana8277
6 жыл бұрын
Cam Gaines if anyone wants to beat the warriors the lakers need to sign a bunch of superstars and pay them less than one mill each lol. A team that can beat warriors definitely needs Lebron kawhi and Anthony Davis. But that’s no happening so yeah this warriors team might just 3peat or 4peat

First of all I love the series idea. Second of all i think Boston, whether they make a trade offer for Kawhi or Whiteside or not, can hang with the Warriors next season if healthy. I'm a die hard Laker fan and it's hard for me to say that but in reality with how they are coached, how sound they are defensively, how they have the young developing guys they have now, and future lotto picks for the next 3 year's, I don't see why they can't return to excellence winning a couple chips competing with the best team by far in the league.

Jonathan Tinsley I think the best thing Washington because Gortat isn't really gonna cut it anymore. They've always been a team that's 1 or 2 players short of being nasty. However I know NOLA is gonna try really hard to get his services back.

@NateMcCoy1194

Jonathan Tinsley I wouldn't trade Jrue. That dude plays some defense. I think they should make a sales pitch for LeBron. Idk if they have a great shot to get him but it's worth a shot. Either way, Davis plays better at center than pf so Idk really how to handle it. I think if you take Boogie back, wait till the deadline and make a decision between the 2 big men and get a massive return

You're right as far as finals appearances go. I think that, other than the 50s/60s Celtics the only teams to make 4 consecutive finals were the 80s Lakers and 80s Celtics. Nobody since the early Celtics has made it to 5. It's worth noting that this would be year #4 for the Cavaliers if they make it, but who knows where they go from here.

Even with a fully healthy and full developed Boston team, and a Bron Rockets team, or a PG13 or Kawhii 76ers team, the Warriors should still be the overwhelming favourite. And honestly it sucks, really bad, because basically the NBA has become ultra unpredictable. At least during the 80s and 90s their were team that could challenge the top team. But now? The Warriors haven't been threatened by anyone yet in 2 years.

What needs to happen is stricter rules to payrolls and salary cap. In the NHL, if a team goes over the salary cap so much as a penny, they will be fined $10M, pay a 200% interest rate on the amount they went over, and have the amount they went over taken off of next year's payroll. So, for example, let's say the Boston Bruins go $1M over the $60M salary cap. They'll be fined $10M, have to pay a $2M luxury tax, and have to work with a $59M salary cap next season. Imagine if the NBA had those same rules. The League would have to undergo a season ending lockout.

@srj34
6 жыл бұрын
Their brand of basketball is probably the most pure version of basketball, less reliant on atheticism, that will ever be seen. Think about all of the recent "cluster champs" we've seen since 1980: Magic's Lakers: Overwhelming physical advantages at the center and point guard positions. This kind of overwhelming athleticism erases a lot of mistakes on the floor or on the roster. Bird's Celtics: Tremendous size advantage along the front line. The Small Forward was 6'9" in an era when most SF were 6'6". Parish and McHale opened up the floor for the kind of distance shooting provided by Bird, Ainge, and Wedman among others. Bad Boys: Tremendous depth and physicality. The Pistons didn't have MVP guys, but they basically had two starting lineups to work with: Edwards behind Laimbeer, Mahorn behind Salley (or vice versa) Rodman behind Aguirre, Microwave behind either Dumars or Isiah. Jordan's Bulls: Two freak athletes at SG/SF. Hakeem's Rockets: A 6-11ish center who moved like a SF with moves to separate from any defender. ShaKobe: A freight train down low paired with an antelope outside. Timmy's Spurs: A 6-11ish big with post moves AND a face-up game who could find cutters, grab boards, and protect the rim paired with a couple of blurs with great finishes at the rim. Kobe's Lakers: The best-ever Jordan-manque with two low-post monsters and another 6-10 point forward. The Heatles: Lebron, enough said, but Bosh is a cat-quick 6-11 with three-point chops. Well, Steph Curry is no Russell Westbrook, Steve Francis, or Kevin Johnson, but he's got plenty of quicks. And it's that deadly shooting that makes him faster than he is. Klay Thompson is from the Reggie Miller/Rip Hamilton school of SG, not the Jordan/Kobe school. Draymond Green is a powerhouse, but not a high-flyer. So it was their ability to shoot, pass, and cut that really made them so deadly, not their size, skywalking, or physical punishment. It led two 67 and 73 wins and nearly two titles in a row. This was all before they acquired Kevin Durant. Now, Durant's does undermine my point a little, but while he is a physical freak his strengths are the Warriors strengths, not OMG DUNKZZZ.

Waterlicious Kage absolutely not. One game doesn't shape a series. If you're point is right, the 4 all star excuse is invalid. How was one man gonna beat the Warriors? Warriors were beating themselves in that game too. Curry was already bringing em back too. That and Spurs choked to a Durant-less Warriors, blowing a 20 point plus lead.

Listening to this in 2023 is crazy cuz the Rockets would have beat the Warriors if it weren’t for injuries (the opposite of what he said), the Warriors ended up breaking up just over a year later and it was the Raptors that beat them instead of the Rockets or Celtics, the Lakers did get LeBron but got Anthony Davis as his teammate instead of Paul George, and the Warriors and Celtics did end up facing off in the Finals but it was in 2022 with no KD or Kyrie

Speaking of a Pelicans, they are so disappointing... their from office don’t understand, as of right now to make themselves even a feasible destination for talent should just get a scoring point to par with Jrue, that’s two guys that can get in pick and roll and possibly create shots. And a lengthy forward who can move laterally, with a jump shot... how is that so much to ask. They can find this simply in draft... develop them a lil bit.
