Amen sister! I'm with you. The judgement and disrespect from others are exhausting. Let's start that revolution! 💙

I felt very scared to share my hair loss at the beginning of my KZitem channel because I was reviewing wigs in a sea of women with hair loss they couldn't control - there is a stigma around my hair loss condition Trichotillomania that I CAN stop when I have absolutely no control so while at times I have hair, there are times (like now) when I don't! I was so scared of being called out but luckily, this community here embraced me. I love seeing more and more gals wear wigs for the enhancement rather than a last resort for bio failure. The world is looking for perfect in every sense of the word in every aspect of life - we are the chance! You are the change! I'm so happy to have come across your "Call to Action" today - I, I'm With You! 🥳

Amen to that! I love my wigs; I don't care what others think. I know they think I'm crazy but that's okay. Doesn't bother me. At 67 I never had children, but that's okay. Was blessed with 40 years of marriage till his passing 7 years ago. I live my life for me and no one else. I'm happy and blessed with so many friends, who love me for being me! Just be happy with you!

💯💯💯I just hate how these stereotypes are perpetuated and so many women feel devalued.

You bring up important points-related to them -I have recognized there is no true good option to care for the elderly, including those who are childless. I help care for my 90+ parents and am their health advocate. I have no one who will be there for me at their age to look out for me to make sure I receive good care…and the realities of who actually work as CNAs and in Assisted Care centers is disturbing and stressful to experience. I truly believe We all need to unite to create new, really good options to care for the elderly.

Definitely! The hard facts are even those with children often have no care. Very important topic!

I’m now at the age that I don’t care what people think. I’m 58… most time I wear makeup when I’m out and about. Sometimes I don’t. I always get dressed though. I refuse to wear pajamas in public. I just think that’s wrong and totally disrespectful. But I don’t necessarily do my hair either. I have long hair and I usually throw it up in a pony tail. I’m comfortable in my own skin.

Simple. Don't listen to what society says....about anything. Why should we? We are free to think for ourselves as adults, and to live the life we choose. Its nobody else's business. I am 54, married with no kids, 4 cats only. I wear wigs and i do what i want. If 'they' don't approve or get it, thats fine- 'they' don't have to. We don't need anyone's permission or approval to live our life and to make our choices/decisions. ❤ 👍🤗

@@lopresti4559 That’s an admirable goal but not realistic for many women. The expectations but on women in our society is extreme to say the least. Many feel pressure to keep a youthful appearance at any cost. Some like you don’t but it’s not a one size fits all feeling.

@@scarlettglowsup u can't allow yourself to be a slave to approval addiction. Other ppl's opinions, don't have to matter at all. We can choose to live Free. Just takes some strength to do so.

Who cares what "society" thinks?!? Love your life. Be happy with you and make the haters jealous. ✨️ The only validation you need, Beautiful, is your own! You do you. Something is wrong with them. They're missing out. Let that be theor problem. Don't get bogged down in bitterness. Where are you shopping?!? Plenty is marketed to us. We have more disposable income than folks with kids - they can't even afford groceries now. Take a vacation. Loosen up. Stop being motivated by rage and hate - increasing the peace begins with feeling it. If you feel peace within yourself and not insecure, society will not rag on you for any choice you want to make. But they smell fear and indecision. Insecurity. They think they might need doing you a favor revealing your lack of confidence in whatever choice... not to harm or correct you but to encourage you to pay attention - not to them necessarily, but to yourself.

I am not raging by any means. I’m very happy with me and my life. I am bringing attention to the stigmas placed on women because it’s an important topic. I don’t feel this rant was necessary.

Who cares what other people think, you do you, more power to you if you don’t want kids, that’s your choice. If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have had kids.
