I grew up in Newham, London. It was a great borough in the 60s and 70s. Now, it has no more than 6% of any single ethic group. Multiple languages, massive crime rate, sexual attacks on women, shoplifting, drug, stabbings, filth, etc. in the 1980s to about 2015, people living outside cities were not really affected by mass migration. But now, everyone is badly affected. No healthcare, migrants everywhere, etc. the country is bankrupt. £8 million a day spent on illegal migrant hotels. Our young people can’t get houses. Migrants are given all the social housing. Bills are huge. Basically, the country is falling apart. Oh, and we have the radical Islamic threat. God bless Matt. People need to listen to him.

I have a small amount of optimism for my country. I think things are going to get worse under Labour, BUT I honestly believe that The reform Party have a chance at becoming a major opposing force to Labour over the next five years; I wouldn't even rule-out Farage taking a shot at, and perhaps, becoming Prime Minister in 2029. When you look at what The Reform party has achieved under Nigel Farage's leadership, it's quite staggering. Just over a month before the elections, The Reform party wasn't much of a political party at all; it was an amorphous mass of individuals with no real structure, certainly no infrastructure (regional offices, local representatives etc). But when Farage announced he was standing as an MP just over a month before the elections, support sky-rocketed. Reform came second in almost one-hundred seats and claimed 14% voter share (Labour having only claimed 30%). We now have five Reform MPs in Parliament and I honestly believe that their support is only going to grow. There is some hope for the UK.

For your information and that of your viewers, the people in the UK who hold these counter culture views and wish to protect aspects of our culture, values etc. as Matt described them, are not just working class people. Increasingly, many are Gen Z, and people right across the social and demographic strata, who do not necessarily live in the cities For too long we remained quiet, expecting those in power to speak up for us. We now know, other than Farage, there is no ne in those positions to speak on our behalf. They have failed the voices of reason, the poeple of commonsense. I was a Labour voter for many decades, but I voted Conservative in 2019. I also voted Conservative in 2017 because even then, following the Referendum, it was clear that Labour were hostile to popular democracy, did not want to accept the referendum result. They were actively silencing people with pro Brexit opinions in the party. I had high hopes with the election of Boris in 2019, but it turned out most Conservatives had no appetite for popular democracy & national independence either. They are milk-toast conservatives who refuse to control our borders, and refuse to challenge the tyranny of woke identity politics & its speech policing & Cancel Culture. I see no sign of change from the rump parliamentary Conservative party since their defeat, so it looks like I'll be voting Reform for a 2nd time in 2029. Matt Goodwin is one of the reasons we have a Labour Government with a majority of over 170 seats despite only winning 33.7% of the votes. He spent everyday of the General Election campaign encouraging the right of centre voters to split their vote down the middle by encouraging people to vote for Nigel Farage’s Reform Party in the full knowledge this would split the right and guarantee Labour a massive majority.

How can I trust a guy who arranges his books by color?!?
@DieFlabbergast

Not true: you are clearly unfamiliar with the leading British publishing companies. Only the books on the right side are all one colour -- orangey red -- and that is because they are all paperbacks published by Penguin, which dominates the paperback market, and that includes serious non-fiction books.

Total bias. Of course Starmer is a moderate. He supported Corbyn - like he had a choice. Be sensible, please. He wanted a second referendum- most people who believe in democracy did. He doesn’t like Trump - well, not many Brits do. He is a moderate but appears left to those who have moved so far to the right that they make Attila the Hun seem like a liberal.

He is a far left activist. Only people who have moved so far left that they can no longer see the centre can see that. I love Trump and there are millions more like me.
