:) you are welcome! I lost my grandmother who taught me how to crochet when I was about 16 with a very basic granny square. I lost her this January and she asked me before she passed to carry on the family tradition. She was phenomenal. I know my skills are intermediate and having these tools to help me hone my craft really means a lot to me. Well anyway, now that I'm all reared up I better get back to it I just wanted to share my little story. I'm 29 now, hopefully one day I'll get there! :)

Thanks for the high praise April! I'll have to save your comments for those down days and re-read. : ) Glad you're enjoying all the Celtic textured stitches. I learned these decades ago and have been hooked ever since. Happy crocheting! Resting in His grace, Bonnie

No problem! I'm glued to your channel lately. I'm more of a "wing it" type person when it comes to crochet instead of following patterns. I'm in the middle of creating a completely textured afghan with cables separating the different stitches. I really find your videos extremely helpful!! You are certainly the queen of texture! :)

I learned crocheting from my mom (her name is also Bonnie) and you just exude the same warmth that she had with me. Thank you! PS when you said crocheting is a multi-sensory experience my first thought was TASTE THE YARN haha

I’m still not quite nailing the back post treble crochet where you do it from the back. Is there any video where you break that down more?

I actually work back post double crochets straight across when the back side is facing. The Cabled Baby Blanket also uses a similar stitch (Honeycomb Stitch), but the row with the back side facing is worked exactly the same way. Here's the link: kzitem.info/news/bejne/mayGsY6ca3mlfYo
