If possible, I'd like to suggest the Nortorious Byrd Brothers by the Byrds, I think it may make for an interesting review.

Good one. Sticky Fingers was 71 as well. Would love to see what you think about the Stones.

Roger Daltreys favourite Who album , and mine ! David Bowie's best album, Hunky Dory, was also released in 1971.

Really enjoying seeing your vids in my sub box again 👍🏻. Just to let you know in case you've missed it, i subbed on the patreon a few months ago and sent you a message requesting an album. Cheers guys. Also, can't stand Pete Townshend either.

@9:35 - I think ‘original album version’ is as opposed to the heavily chopped single version that was put out for radio play.

Addressing the other points, Trespass definitely counts for me as the 1st Genesis album. ... And regarding the preponderance of lawsuits : I always think about Greg Ham who unexpectedly died about the time the band was hit with the suit over Kookaburra and its similarity with his sax line in Down Under. Just run a man's life 30 years later, jeez...

I don't listen to the Who much these days, but no doubt this is a solid album, one of their most focused. In an early phase of my classic rock education I listened to their early singles and got to like those quite a lot.

sam's got good taste in music but do I detect Sam cringing at the thought of reviewing another who album?

Seeing as Sam liked it this does seem a bit of an odd response, but it's okay I've had years at this.
