They got a lot better but I’d love to hear a later rendition of unsociable heroes. That has some sweet parts to it although they are all decent. I’ll love the Wildhearts ‘til I don’t… probably never

I put the original Angel Biscuits series together, glad the artwork I designed for each section is still in circulation :-)

Just to let you know that the last four tracks, from Please Baby Please onwards, were recorded at my old studios at 145 Wardour Street Soho, London. You can clearly hear the difference in the sound from the first four tracks. They were produced by their future A&R man Dante Bonutto, and the engineer was Dave Garland who did a lot of recordings with Slade, Quo, Magnum and more. Yes, they got much better when Ginger took control of his band and started singing lead vocals, but the potential is still clearly there.

Is that CJ singing lead or did they have a lead singer back then? :edit: I looked it up. Snake on vox. LOL I didn't know they used frontmen before Ginger took over lead vox.

The early Wildhearts 8 studio demos circa 1989-1990 featuring Stuart J. Neale aka "Snake" & Duncan F. Mullett (who doesn’t appear on this KZitem video singing these studio demos but did later overdub lead vocals in 1990 on the instrumental backing tracks from original 1989 studio demo recording session) are simply amazing!! I wish the Wildhearts would have also recorded an officially released studio album with Stuart John Neale aka "Snake" (ex Idol Rich & Tobruk) on lead vocals & an officially released studio album with Dunken Francis Mullett (ex Mournblade) on lead vocals as well! R.I.P. Stuart John Neale aka "Snake" April 26th, 1963 - December 20th, 2006

Sound like Rhett Forrester on vocals, obviously it’s not.
