A happy childhood, a sumptuous wedding and Queen at 23. Elizabeth Stuart, the granddaughter of Mary Queen of Scots, and the daughter of James VI of Scotland, later James I of England, and Anne of Denmark, was elated to see how her life was shaping up, but the Thirty Years’ War changed everything and her life became a continuous struggle. Today we will follow her tragic story.
