Disney and the world of anime and manga have had a long relationship that has lasted nearly half a century. Why is it that there was such a long break between when the first two manga were released in the early 50s, and the third one released in the mid 2000s? What led to this renaissance and newly found interest in manga from Disney and why is it that despite regular releases, we rarely ever see or hear much about them? I decided to buy and read every Disney manga to find out if there was a link. These are my findings.
