Quite impressive. Though for that kind of speed why not build a hydrofoil?

Unfortunately it would most likely get thrown around in rough seas considering how light she is. It's big, but I don't think I'd feel safe crossing oceans in rough weather with this thing. But I guess she can outrun the bad weather! Beautiful interior though!

One of things I love about these comments is that people often reveal their true essence. I could debate your point, but you expose yourself as such a lowly character that I would be wasting my time. Anyone who reads your post can tell what kind of person you are.

Beautiful yacht. I can see why yacht builders would scoff at building the fastest megayacht. Still 75 mph is faster than some cars can drive.

@HighPoweredLasers It's no doubt expensive any way you look at it but keep in mind when you buy 5,000+ gallons of diesel you probably get a bulk price...also, Non taxed off road diesel is also 38-40 cents per gallon cheaper than stuff you would buy at a regular gas station. Price at the pump may be 3.50 per gallon but non taxed, bulk price may be 1.00 (or more depending on contractual agreements) cheaper than pump price.

perhaps a sliding top upper decks, to shift weight rearward at high speeds that would pull the front end out of the water? 3 to 5 feet might be enough.

The guys who trashed our economy are facing such terrible hardship. Of course we will first need to cut education, health care, pensions, libraries, parks, etc. But the rich will suffer because they will not get the second yacht or the fifth mansion and they might have to sell off their private island.

OK Fine. He's rich, happy and builds fast boats. I'm very happy for him. He keeps on bragging about lightweight this and lightweight that so his boat can go fast. Hasn't he ever thought about losing some weight himself ???? 10 guests like him represent at least 2 tons extra weight onboard ... They could easily cut that in half if they only had the balls to do it instead of drinking alcohol !!!

A lot of people are afraid to say that. In my work, most of the people I meet who have financial problems have serious character flaws. They themselves are the ones to blame for being poor. The difference between the rich, the middle class, and the poor isn't really the money -- it's character, knowledge, education, values, and making good decisions. To a large degree money is just the end result of how people think and live their lives.

What I would like to know is how often with the conditions in the ocean allow you to go that fast and the other question I have how much fuel are you burning per hour doing these speeds and my third question what is your fuel capacity of a yacht that can do this. And my last question is what is the cost per hour of going 70 miles an hour in 150 ft long yacht. 2 or $3,000 an hour. Is it worth it. I guess if you have money to burn it wouldn't matter if it cost $5,000 an hour or $10,000 an hour and how often do you have to redo the engines of running at such an extreme horsepower. My big question is what is the cost and is it worth it I thought cruising in the ocean from one place to another was supposed to be enjoyable not bouncing around rocking and yawning left and right and bouncing off of waves that would not be luxurious breaking dishes and wine glasses and wine bottles and all the food flying around.
