To all my fellow Indians being hurt because they went to slum and recorded it, I would say why not? Let's stop being hypocrites and acknowledge that places like these are an integral part of India and kudos to these tourists for going to every nook and cranny and actually showing how people live in slums. I dont see anything wrong, just hardworking people doing their job and living life. Thankyou for showing it how it is❤❤

Because it becomes tiresome to hear that " this is the real India" by slum tourists and their chamchas. 75 years of the same line as if the rest of India that doesn't live in Dharavi is not real. I didn't live in slum so I am not real? Or I am not living in real India? And yes this video is not that bad but that damn " this is the real India " line was here too. I stopped the video right there and made this comment.

Dear Dave, the great part of India is that you as a foreigner can enter the poorest part of a major city and not get robbed or killed. You and your partner were safe in a slum in a far away land. Now try going to the poorest part of New York City or the poorest part of Los Angeles or the poorest part of Johannesburg or the poorest part of any major city in the world, I can guarantee that something bad would have happened to you and your partner. What you got in Dharavi was love and not death and that my dear friend is what makes India great. With love and best wishes from South Africa.

I generally don't like when people film their tours to these slum areas, it feels like poverty tourism for people who want to feel good about themselves by taking pity on them. But I really loved the way you showed it & thank you so much for that. Yes, these are poor people, but they generate their own economy, they are hardworking and aspirational. It's so easy for them to get on the wrong path, but they live their life in a dignified way. Again, thanks for showing that side.

All that we see , is not because they are poor; people in rural area of India make substantially less money than people in this slum, but the biggest fault is the government's inability to provide better infrastructure, sanitation and manage the population expansion.otherwise they are not that poor,if government just properly plan this place, divide it into residential, commercial, industrial area and just take care of the infrastructure, this will be a good place.

Please make video on USA slum area. There are 28000 cases of people doing poop on roads in 2018. People living on streets. I visited New York, it was so stinky. Single room cost 65k , where as here you can get @ 300 here.

Even tho I would love to, it is way to dangerous. This slum is Indian has a story, the people are great and hard working and it is nothing to be a shamed of compared to the USA.

Bro if you got chance than you must visit film city with some permission. Check House of Mukesh Ambani worth of 2 billion$. For food visit Khao Gali. And if you have plenty of time and u had nothing To do than sit in Mumbai airport. I had visited there and waited for few hours and I meet one of Bollywood actress. Every few hours Bollywood actors have flights. If you wanna meet go check it out. This kind of advice u won't find from anyone 🤣🤣🤣. Love your vlogs buddy. ❤
