I’ll explain how the trick works but you should practice because the technique was done very well. The card he picks randomly he ensures he puts below the red card. He knows what the red card is and has a double of that in the deck. Notice how he fixes the deck before showing you the red card. He double lifts to reveal the card under the red one. Places down the red one which is the 7 or whatever you dupe. Then he “shuffled” but the shuffle never actually moved the bottom card. He ensures he ends up at that card because that’s the duplicate. He then fans out all the cards face down and shows the red card is fhe 7 the entire time. It’s not mind blowing and any learning magician knows what he did but his technique was beautifully executed and his stage presence adds to the mystique / execution. Top notch.

The I don’t remember what force when he’s “shuffling through cards and shows a random one” is a very Sus move done in person also the deck was ordered before so it doesn’t need as much sleight of hand

This trick wouldnt work with a real person randomly picking cards. He controls the red 7 of clubs on top of the blue 3 of spades, when he flips the first red card and you see the 3, hes actually Flipping 2 cards which is why he flips it back over before placing the red card down because it isnt the 3. Its a fun trick and he executes it well. It is important to keep in mind though that anytime a card magician does the "random card" thing in an online setting. The card is never random, it is always a purposely controlled card

The very last card in the deck is a red seven of clubs. When he pulls out a random card (which is random) you’ll notice that he breaks the deck and the bottom card now gets placed onto the 3 of spades. When he gets that card to the top he actually does a double card flip so you’re seeing the 3 of spades look like the red card when it’s actually being pressed against the red 7. Then he makes it seem like the 3 of spades magically turned into a 7 of clubs

The 3 of Spades was an actual random selection. There is a red 7 of Clubs on the bottom. and a blue 7Club behind it. He puts the deck on top of the 3 Spade, so the Red 7 Club is now on top of the 3S. When he finds the red card, he moves it to the top, keeping the 3S underneath the red card. For the first show, he actually pulls 2 cards from the top. You see the 3S, but the red 7C is right behind it. He puts them back on the deck and just pulls the red card to set aside (which we know is the 7C). Now he starts a shuffle, leaving the blue 7C on the bottom. When they say 'stop' he just shows the card at the bottom of the deck.. NOT a random selection. Spread them out, turn over the only red card on the table, the one you set aside earlier. Whew! Lots of practice to make this work so smoothly. He's a PRO!

Agree completely. The one thing I will say is learning how to trick is done adds to my appreciation of the skill needed to perform it and the creativity used by whoever invented the trick. Also want to add that some of the more grander illusions and filmed street magic tricks need to be called out when they are using the camera to hide things, planted assistants in the audience or twins. Lastly I think its can be helpful to show people how easily that can be fooled by showing how a trick was done in the hopes they will be less gullible to how we are being played in real life be it by the government, media, scammers etc.

**WARNING: Trick spoiler!** As an amateur magician, I can explain some parts. The 3S was lost in the deck, but then was forced to the top. The red card, the 7C, was found and put on top. A famous technique called the "double lift" allows him to show the 3S while concealing the fact it's the 7C. The "overhand shuffle" is a way to shuffle the cards, keeping the bottom card the same. This bottom card was the 7C, which was there all along.

@Nmc-dz8bj

Bit late, but I don't think the 3S was forced at all, I think it could be done with any random choice card. If you watch closely, the bottom card stays the same until he puts everything back together, where the red 7 is placed on top of the 3. Then, he cuts above the red 7, placing the blue 7 on the bottom again (bottom 2 cards were red, then blue 7s to start).
@DAMIENDMILLS
Жыл бұрын
You can't lose a card then force it to the top. The Red 7C was already set at the bottom of the deck, with the blue 7C right above it. He did a false cut. The 3S was chosen at random. Then the deck was cut, forcing the 3S right next to the red 7C in the middle, which made it easy to find. And the blue 7C was forced to the bottom. Yes, a double lift was used, and the red 7C was left face down on the table. And then an overhanded shuffle to keep the blue 7C at the bottom. Yes, the 3S was truly lost in the deck, it didn't matter anymore. And after the blue 7C was shown, it can be lost in the deck, because the big flourish is to finally turn over the red 7C.

Red card at the bottom of the deck at the start - 7c. 3spades dont matter. Because he places the red card on the top of the 3spades. When he flips over the red card to show 3 spades, he does a double lift and flips 2 cards instead of 1. Places the red 7c on the table. The second time he shuffling the top off the deck and shows you the bottom card 7c which was already loaded there. So to perform this trick, its a normal deck with 7c at the bottom and another 7c(red). 1st card chosen is random the rest is all fake shuffling

He use Double lift when showing 3 of clubs. Then he drop the red card which is already 7 of space and when he is suffling card he didn't show the upper card and used to show the last card which is 7 of space

Explanation: Had prepared the cards so at the bottom had a red 7 and after that a blue 7.Firstly he faked the card mix, he had the red card at the bottom then he put the 3 down from the red so he knows where is the 3. The he brought the red 7 at the top and under it it was the 3, then he turns both cards together so it looked like,like the red card was the 3. Then he placed the red 7 at the table and he started mixing the deck until he was at the bottom so he knew that the bottom card was the blue 7. And then he reveled the red 7. And that's magic 🥰 Very good trick men, good job!!! At first you had me

But why do you find it necessary to share it with everyone? You're literally ruining the trick. If we are able to figure it out, that's fine. But you don't go telling people.

both red and blue 7’s are at the bottom of the deck. the first trick he does a double lift the 2nd he does a false cut
@rambard5599
Жыл бұрын
First he picks a card at random, cuts the deck and places the card right under the red card. When he spreads it, all he has to do is look for the red card. They're stacked on top of each other, so the red card is actually the 7C but it looks like the 3S. Not sure, but I think he then places the 3S back on the deck, and does a false cut and shuffle (you can see he's "shuffling" the top part of the stack, but he takes the card from the bottom) in order to force the chosen card to be the 7C. At that point it doesn't matter what he does, since the chosen card and the red card are the same.

@@christhorne116 yeah, one red, one blue. The red one is on the bottom and gets put on the 3 when he "loses" it in the middle. The only part I haven't caught is how he controls the Blue 7 until he draws it.

U gotta pin me for this So what he did was : When he chose a random card it wasn't a random card he knew that card was there and took 3 of spades and then when he took the red card to the top and then when he showed it he actually showed the card behind it and it was 7 of cloves and then he put those 2 cards back at the top of the deck and then he took the red card and put it on the table but it wasnt the 3 of spades it was 7 of cloves and then he did the magic tingy not necessary lol and then he showed u it is 7 of spades and btw when he showed u 7 of spades it's actually because in the middle of the deck there like 15-20 7 of cloves cards and that's how he did it in also a magician myself lol but I'm only 12 yrs old so I'm not that good

I love how you always do a few tricks in these, I can usually manage to catch one of them but the other two or three completely elude me! It’s fascinating how just being so calm and confident makes so many of these moves, that are obvious when you see them, completely invisible. Thanks!

First "suffle" does not change the ofder of the cards. Last card is 7- red card, after putting the three in the pack you put the bottom part of the pack on top of the three (second last card is 7 and that is how you fins where you put the three). Then double lift for the three and put the 7 red card down. Now the last card is also 7 and when you pull the card you pull from the top and show the last card which was a seven. This trick is easy to figure out.
