And people say that footy was better when you could hit people. I'd rather watch a talented footballer play than watch a thug hospitalize that talented player. The damage he caused Greening destroyed the man. This should also factor in if a player is injured in the same match they receive a suspension for... Barry Hall is a good example who was rubbed out for a similar time he was injured for anyway... suspensions should start from when they are medically fit to play... this determined by an independent and team doc

@@flairfooty Also, I have a story about Robbie Muir for you... Back in 1996 (I think it was from memory) I was with my old man at the prince of wales pub in St Kilda and we were out the front and my dad had already had a few and he was looking out sort of to the horizon and he said "just look at that moon would ya"... Now Muir happened to be walking towards us in more or less the same way my dad was pointing and he'd already had a skinfull himself (at least from what I could tell) and he ran towards us and said "what the f**k did you just call me" and he started throwing chairs and glasses and carrying on... I tried to explain to the 2 women he was with that my dad was making a remark about the MOON, not any sort of racial connotation, as my father was always against ANY sort of racial vilification as his grandparents and great grandparents had survived the Armenian Genocide.
