Maybe a bit more subtle than it was hyped up to be and, yes, it's Octomore MSRP and not Octomore peatiness. I was laughing when you were talking about the Lost Monarchs. Using the same logic I use with Old Fo 1920. “How many 1920’s could I have gotten for what I paid for ______?”

I use to literally equate everything to how many early times I could get

Ok. new rule. No more talking about RWud Epire products, lol. LM and EG are 2 of my favorite bottles for the price, around 35 in my area. I don't want to see them turn into 80$ bottles. So ssshhhh up. ....and stay away from Smoke Wagon products while your at it. I like I can actually find a few local, to me, things at reasonable prices. lmao Just kidding, you guy do you.

Bourbon prices are getting out of hand. Annoying as shit. Also, are we to believe that all bottled in bond bourbons are aged in a warehouse guarded by a federal agent? I just can't believe that and if that is the case, bottled in bond loses its meaning and is just a marketing thing.

Early Times - still the same BF stocks, but blended differently. What a difference the master blender can make!

Still confused how you all think something is good but somehow 20 bucks makes or breaks bourbon. Just stick what juice sucks. MNWD is good. Look at the price to eat, everything costs more in 2022, ingredients cost more, transportation costs cost more, bourbon will cost more as a result. I agree love 1792 bottled in bond if you can find it. Love the jd bonded and keep it in a decanter, I call it pure bananas, best part it's on all my shelves here for 30 some bucks for 700 ml. My most hated were the lumberyard and tea party bookers. To the point will never buy a bookers again. Chapter6 isn't great either.

Costs went up yes, did they go up enough to justify $20 a bottle more? Nope... The part that pisses me off is when corporations say "our prices went up so expect to pay more", then have record breaking profit years. It's fucking corporate greed, plain and simple.

Being fair though, limited releases are for shelves not drinking. Thats the thing you buy bc it's rare.
