Poor guy missed a shift and then it was like the first lap of an iRacing event - everyone thinks they gotta win in the first turn. Missing a shift happens, even the top guys in NASCAR do it on occasion. It is part of racing. This is a perfect example of the accordion effect caused when someone misses a shift on a start. The wreck could have been avoided if it weren't for the impatience of those who made it three-wide to go around the guy who missed the shift. But hey, it's racing and I would have probably gone three-wide too lol Edit: Four-wide! I mean common guys, what did you expect?

He should have stuck to the right hand side, instead of which he moved to the centre of the track and gave everyone behind who was travelling much faster nowhere to go. I hope he paid for the repairs to the other cars...

driver missed shifted, and SHOULD have then stuck to the right hand side, UNDERSTANDING that he was slower and therefore those behind would pass. He seemed to move to the middle, looking in his mirrors, in order to get those behind to stay behind, which they would never do... I hope that footage like this is played back in driver briefings, as its a perfect example of this guy attempting to cover up his mistake and not allow others that didn't make a mistake to get past. This is at best unsportsmanlike, and at worst downright dangerous

As is clearly seen here, simply wearing a replica Senna helmet doesn't make you Senna-esque in your driving...

I get why they moved to the middle of the track but that ended up causing it people to get sandwiched and pushed off track, which then caused 22 to get pitted and them hitting 26. Everyone was safe according to dannydc2's video which is good

When his clutch slipped why did he start merging into the centre of the track for?
@moiistdaddy

His clutch didn't slip. He tried to roll into 2nd and missed. He ducked down the middle because of the traffic now flying up on his right side.

Okay, sure he got in the way after he missed the shift. But that doesn't justify literally ramming him off the track! Your speed doesn't matter when you get hit on the side! The guy just came across, hit another car, then absolutely slammed into the guy who hit the wall.

It took me a few views to see what happened. It looks like he was intentionally rammed and pushed off the track. There was a car that basically PIT Maneuvered the car into diving right and hitting him before pushing him off track. Just plain out, a bunch of assholes playing race car.

There were close to 32,000 MR2's sold in the UK over its first two generations. That's excluding the MR2 Spyder, which is also elegible for this class. I wouldn't call that rare.

Almost think he didn't even see him to his right its abrupt. Nobody wants to start their race hitting another car, your car takes damage as well.

Yellow car deserved a shunt. He cut across the pack to hold them up because he got a poor start
@Weaseltube

#22 was punted in the right rear which caused the car to veer right across the track. Driver had no control over it. The only intentional part was the original driver moving over to the middle of the track after screwing up his launch. He caused it all.
@OpSic66
2 жыл бұрын
@@Weaseltube I don't agree with the "He caused it all" as it was pretty avoidable if people weren't trying to "win the race by the first corner". However, your observation of the cause of the hit, is spot on.
