carami This is where the rest of the world disagrees, we dont have a gun problem to need your logic in the first place. Thats all America stuck in the past, where everyone else has solved it and moved on, only to be dragged back up by your countries desire for violence. You only need a gun, to protect yourself from a guy with a gun. Ive never seen a gun, nor ever met someone who has been shot/killed. And I live in the middle of the Canadian forest where people actually need guns. Your country is violent, and thinks a mini arms race will solve it.

@@YazzPott for one many other countries have large civilian gun ownership without high crime. Two there are many countries with strict gun control that still have high crime. Austraila saw an increase in crime after their gun buy back. Third and most important is how do you not understand MORE crimes are STOPED with guns than commited. There are over 200,000 MORE crimes stoped than committed with guns. That means there are well over 200,000 people who needed a gun to defend themselves from someone who had a knife or a hammer. Although there were very early flintlock versions of pepperbox pistols (a multiple-barrel repeating firearm that has three or more barrels which revolve around a central axis), most pepperboxes made were percussion because those examples became popular in the early 1800s and advanced manufacturing techniques mass-produced examples of these, such as the popular Allen & Thurber in America, the Engholm in Sweden, and the Budding in England. The pepperbox evolved into the revolver that has a round cylinder that holds the percussion caps, powder and bullets (later holding metallic cartridges) that rotates and lines up to a single barrel instead of a 6-barrel rotating firearm that resembles a miniature Gatling Gun.

Communism is a stateless, classless society where the workers own the means of production and private property (not personal property, which is different) is abolished. With your basic needs catered to by the collective masses, you can afford to live a life pursuing your own interests. The Soviet Union was a Marxist-Leninist state.
