Lebron is like a hero who has failed and won many times. He was given an excessive amounts of pressure when he was just 17 years old. He overcame and exceeded the expectations of everyone, he wasn't a god, he was still mortal. And yet he was able to put himself in the conversation with a man praised like a god. He was someone everyone can relate to. Someone who always fell short of everything they wanted. Someone who was always in a mediocre team for half of his career and yet still always tried to fight and win against a team revered as a juggernaut of the nba. Andre Iguodala’s was well-deserved. He was key to their defensive scheme and gave them the edge they needed. Don’t let stats cloud your judgement
@4ev3rmore

He was only key in that he became the primary defender the same game where they started doubling Lebron. That’s the only reason he defended “well.” In isolation situations, Lebron shot 50% on Iggy but way worse against Barnes and Draymond. Also Curry only had one bad game (G2), played amazing otherwise (27ppg on 50-50-90), especially in 4th quarters. Curry 100% should’ve gotten it

Saying Paul pierce and iggy didn’t deserve the finals mvp is actually high quality bullshit.

Right? This is just looking at stats and ignoring context. Ray had good numbers but he was off ball the entire season. He was catch and shoot but Pierce and Rondo were the attackers on offense. They made the bigger impact. Also for Iggy, yes LeBron averaged ridiculous numbers, but Iggy made it tough, ~40% shooting for LeBron, if not for Iggy, It would’ve been worse.

@@AClaiderman during the last 4 games curry averaged 28, 6, and 5 on 49.5 fg% and 47.7 3pt%. In the 4th quarter of those games, he averaged 13.5 points on 63% fg%, 57.9% 3pt%, and 90% ft% and had 17 pts twice in the 4th quarter, an nba record. He was the best player on the winning team, and even improved his play during the finals. I have no idea why he lost it. Also, the only reason Lebron was shooting so badly was because he was the only scoring option on that team

No it wasn’t he was abysmal that series, he was leading the teams in turnovers, missed FG, and had the lowest FG% Cornbread carried that series and was the only reason they won, that was one of the lowest shooting series in finals history I believe though, also he averaged a lot of board but you gotta think he was playing hella minutes and with all the misses it’s granted, he did facilitate well though, we’ll about average for bird per his touches, either way it was his worst finals appearance

What about Magic Johnson over Kareem????
@potorokusmc13
Жыл бұрын
Kareem in 80 should’ve won it but I’m not too bummed about that because for Magic to be a rookie and fill in during such a crucial series-clinching game and have that performance is incredible and MVP worthy. Speaking of Worthy, that one belonged to Magic as well. Also, unpopular opinion, 2010 Pau over KB.
