Great stuff! In Ireland, is there any holiday like the Modraniht or Helya's Night? Also, is there any celtic/gaelic legend comparable to the Uralic Golden Woman, aka the Golden Hag, Golden Lady (Russian: Золотая баба), zolotaya baba, Злата баба, zlata baba, Latin: aurea anus? Your videos are fascinating!

The hunting of the wren is found in England, too, and considering many (many!) English traditions - eg the Abbots Bromley dance, and the Padstow 'Obby 'Orse - predate the Roman and Viking invasions, it stands to reason they must be rooted in Celtic times. must have their roots in the Celtic times. Loved the archive footage! Thanks for posting. Greetings from Uusimaa.

I have a question about Estonian mythology is the creation myth the same as Finnish mythology and Kalevala is also Estonian.

"Oh where are you going?, says Milder to Mogger, Oh, I cannot tell you, says Jack in the Can. We're going to the woods, says John the Red Nose, We're going to the woods, says John-in-the-Lawn. And what will you do there? says Milder to Mogger, Oh, I cannot tell you, says Jack in the Can. We'll hunt for the wren, says John the Red Nose, We'll hunt for the cutty wren!, cries everyone."
