These porous borders can blur the fixities of the stories they engage with, and leave both the writer and the reader wondering where they stand. Santiago Roncagliolo is one of the most acclaimed writers in contemporary Latin American literature, as well as a screenwriter of TV and cinema. Two of his books have been adapted into films. They will be in conversation with academic and writer Susana Torres.
