The Spanish girl should never have been let through in the first place. She was definitely a pity choice because Sharon couldn't stop laughing at her audition. There's a LOT of people in the 25 and over group that no way should have ever made it through. What were they thinking? I think Sharon often picks people because they'll entertain her. She often comments, "I think he'll/she'll be fun", so it's clear she just doesn't want to be bored at boot camp.

That 16 year old boy Trevor was born with talent. His voice is amazing and so beyond his years. He was also very humble about his natural talent, which I love about musicians. I’m a pianist and, even though a lot of people say I’m good, it’s hard for me to accept compliments. He’s real inspiring.

I think he's one of the best acts ever . I cried when he cried after he felt he could have done better ... because , after all he was only 16 years old when he auditioned at Louie's house . It's really good and up-lifting see him again . 😊

Simon is SO intimidating to everyone that they either flourish under that sort of pressure or fall apart. In some ways it is a foretaste of the sort of pressure one has to endure as performers. Best get used to it now. However, it would be super interesting to see how these groups would have responded if Louis or Sharon was in charge of them. I'll bet they would have done much, much better right out of the chute. Just saying - Simon scares the heck of everyone. It's like if you can keep it together and perform well in front of Simon, a huge audience is nothing in comparison.

The two ladies in pink never had a chance - where in the market would they fit? A lot of times failing isn't about whether you are good or bad, but if there is a niche on the charts for you. This is a business, bottom line. Doesn't mean these people aren't talented.

Egads - the judge with the green goatee looks like he has mold growing on his chin. Good thing he's not auditioning or they'd tell him he has an 'image problem'. What the heck is with the 82 old? Is that just window-dressing so the show can claim they are all inclusive. Ridiculous. A lot of them can't even sing in tune at all. To be at boot camp you should most definitely at least be able to sing in tune. This really brings the integrity of this entire show into question. Obviously they choose no-hopers even for the final round for the entertainment value. What a cruel thing to do - giving people false hope - the very thing they accuse parents and friends of doing. It would also seem that Sharon gets a little over-emotionally involved sometimes rather than making decisions based on real talent. It's confusing when people say one thing and then do another, sometimes and then sometimes not. Plus I don't see why they have to deliver the news in such a dramatic way in order to elicit and manipulate as much of an emotional response as possible. Makes good TV, right?

I think Simon hates older people and larger women. Simon you need a lesson in looking past what a person looks like.
@bleachbomb9345
4 жыл бұрын
He is the reason older people are allowed on these talent shows, he changed the rules of talent shows at this time to include all ages. He doesn’t hate larger people, it’s just the way the music and tv industry is. People like thinner people over larger people because it’s seen as more attractive, it’s fucked up but that’s the way anything to do with fame is. If you look at his shows now, he doesn’t bring up weight. You are also judging a person with morals used in today’s society for something that was normal in those times, I know you don’t like him because this isn’t your first comment on him but you still have to look at things objectively and not from your own bias point of view if you are going to try bring down a person’s character.

@bleachbomb9345

Do you have a degree in production? No? Then what right do you have to comment on the this? The point I’m trying to make here is that he has ears, he isn’t tone deaf and he has an understanding for music, that’s why he has the right to judge these singers. He doesn’t have to be a singer to know someone is singing out of tune so to say he isn’t one therefore he can’t judge is ignorant. It’s like saying a food critic has to be a chef, when in reality they don’t. They want to impress Simon because he is the one that will sign them to his record label and nine times out of ten the people he likes become massive stars.
@annab434

No I don't have a degree in production, but I have many years of singing and dancing and makeup for local theater. I also know how it feels being told you are no good, but when I would sing, their mouths would drop and applaud. Simon needs to wait for them to sing and not judge by their looks. That is all the point I was trying to make.
