After doing sunrise on Mt Ngungun it was time to head back to Beerburrum to finally check out the Yul-Yan-Man Trail and taken to the trailhead along the Soldiers Settlers Trail.
Starting out at around 7am on a very humid morning. I set off from the car park behind Beerburrum primary school for the trailhead for the 9.5km journey around the circuit.
A good mix solid footpad along the trail with a little bit of scrambling at times and some very loose rocky scree sections along the trail. Some great views looking out towards the coast and of Tibrogargan and Beerwah on the way around.
The real surprise.of the trip was the little history lesson to be found on the Soldiers Settlers Trail that put a few years in the eyes and reflecting on why what happened. I had a little bit of information on this trail but did not expect the little surprise and the information that filled in some gaps and raised some more questions about the settlement and what happened after it was abandoned.
Thanks for getting this far and reading all this. Enjoy the video and get out there and go have a look for yourself. Sometimes you find the most interesting stuff in the places you least expected.
