He had no idea or clue. He probably never had a mother or sister. I think he got too honest, especially when he gets defiant. He could be a lonely guy looking for action.

You can tell that we're a polite, gun-owning society when you don't have people standing on the side of the road shooting fuel trucks at random.

They made clear they weren't that kind of women, asked him to consider how he'd feel if a woman he cared about was disrespected in that way, then gave him the chance to apologise. Didn't work, so the guns came out.

Free? lol. That's rich. Though, the story is fictional, in real life, they'd be dead. "Freedom" has it's price. Therefore... nothing is free & all things have a price. Death is the price of life. Live free in this life and you may pay dearly for it in the next, live in bondage in this life & you may be set free in the next. "freedom" is a peculiar word, indeed. Without the wisdom to govern one's self, freedom will only last so long. - Those girls in the film only lasted so long.

LOVE this scene! The fantasy of every woman who's been catcalled, had someone suck their teeth at them, follow them (even for a few steps), murmur at them, stand next to them at the 7-11 and say shit--which is to say EVERY woman. This is literally a dream come true. Dude, just apologize. It's disgusting to point at your crotch for women you don't even know.

This country truck driver acts like my brother in the past. Now he's lying in bed having ALS/freezed-numb legs, a bed-bound full grown man who can't normally walk for his daily routine bathroom. Other than that, he ain't even 40 years old. Life is inevitably in a deep shit.

It's not misandry at all. It's about men treating women like shit. Taking liberties where they shouldn't be. Making lewd comments when they are not warranted. And women are sick and tired of men putting their hands where they shouldn't be, thinking it's okay. Out of a room of 50 women and only 2 were not sexually abused, (a statistical and true number), this ratio is not okay. This is not misandry at all. It's about women standing up for themselves to men who are rude and disgusting and sexually abusive verbally and physically. You are mixing up the word misandry with justice.

@@alisonleah8714 As a fellow woman and one who has also been sexually abused by several different men on several different occasions and one who was born and raised on feminist values...... yeah, this scene is misandry.
