Another lovely vid, thank you. As a boy back in the 60s I remember the engine shed at Moorswater quite well, I visited the Looe brach on several occasions back then, a day out from my home in Falmouth and always by rail, quite an adventure, two branch lines and a main line, lining up the connections was always fun. Thank you for sharing it Brough back distant Happy memories.

I grew up below Cheesewring (Stowes Hill), with Kilmar, Golddiggings, Phoenix and Caradon as my playground. I was fortunate as a young child that my neighbours were the last of the quarrymen that had survived into retirement, most of whom had been born in the 19th century. They were rugged men but would fondly tell me about riding in wagons on the L&CR as children, usually for a Sunday school trip to Looe. It's hard now to comprehend the significance of that journey for families that didn't usually travel more than an hour's walk from home. I haven't returned for quite some time but it's a pleasure to see much of the line looking very attractive.

Thank you for a very well produced video. I was surprised to see so much foliage between the rails but pleasantly surprised to see a fairly modern sign referring to “passengers” and not “customers”!
