I'm from Portland, and I've been to Klamath Falls a few times. I liked it back in 2008 when I was a kid. The Best Western hotel is nice. My maternal grandma’s boyfriend at the time was an artist who did Native American sculptures and presented them there. I revisited Klamath Falls for a day trip by myself while I was going to college in Ashland in November 2023 because I thought it would be like Bend, but it doesn't give me the same vibe. I didn't enjoy it as much as the other Cascade towns like Sisters, Bend, Redmond, Mosier, and Prineville.

@@livinginklamathfalls it's a prominent pilgrimage site for Russian postmodernists, an influential thinker lived there. He goes by the name of Uebermarginal online. One of the finest minds of Russian intelligentsia, unfortunately he had to abandon his Oregonian estate because of a strife with his haters and avaricious local landlord who constantly pestered him. Alas, that's how Klamath Falls loses its finest minds but he said on his stream that he will come back one day, when he accumulates enough wealth to buy a stately home in the Valley.

Great video, and I agree with all of your points, especially no Interstate highway. That may be the best of all! You failed to mention the democrat to republican ratio, and that is the reason we all love Klamath Falls so much! BE SURE to verify the political party of the supervisiorial candidates on your ballot. Some transplants are slowly getting into political positions because they no longer have to identify their political persuasion. How that came to pass is still a mystery to me? They will certainly ruin the peace and quiet lifestyle of Klamath County if they can. It is their goal to ruin as many conservative places as they can with their DEI and WOKE culture, and it is easier to NOT vote for them than it is to vote them out after they crawl out of their slimy cave! As far as deer getting into your garden, there are many hacks, but none of them work. I have had a garden here for over 20 years and only once have I had a deer get in. I put a 6' fence around the entire perimeter except for one little section near an old truck with a box on the back that belonged to my neighbor. When he moved he took the truck and left a short section of fence open that was about 4.5" high. Within a day, three deer jumped the fence, so I ran them out and added a piece of 6' fence wire and that was the end of the problem. People will tell you a deer can jump a 6' fence, and maybe they can if you had one confined inside a pen, but they will not jump it to get into a garden, not in 20 years!
