My current theory is that is why it is so difficult to go poop, my liver is banishing all plastic to the sewer via my butthole. Unfortunately, microplastics is only a part of environmental toxins. We are also exposed to PFAS, PFOS, glyphosate, dioxins, DDT and BFA just to name a few. The rise of chronic disease is most likely due to a cumulative effect of all of the environmental toxins rather than a singel substance. It is possible to reduce the exposure for all of these however, you need to know what the sources are. I haven't heard of a single Health Agency that speaks up on this issue and has tried to inform the population on avoiding environmental toxins. Good work on informing about how to reduce microplastic exposure.

Summary: microplastics are tiny plastic particles that are found everywhere in our environment, including our food, water, and the air we breathe. They can also be absorbed through the skin. Microplastics are accumulating in our bodies and may cause negative health effects in the long term. Sources of microplastics: synthetic textiles, car tires, dust, road markings, coatings on ships, personal care products How microplastics get into the body: inhalation and ingestion Potential health effects of microplastics: gut health problems, metabolic changes, brain degeneration, immune system problems, reproductive system problems How to minimize exposure to microplastics: reducing inhalation (wear a mask, breathe through your nose), reducing ingestion (avoid bottled water, eat less seafood), supporting your body’s detox systems (gut, respiratory system, skin, liver, lymphatic system, kidneys) How to mitigate the damage of microplastics: supporting the immune system (eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep, reduce stress), reducing inflammation (eat antioxidant-rich foods, avoid smoking and alcohol), supporting gut health (eat probiotic foods, prebiotic foods, reduce stress), supporting reproductive health (eat healthy fats, avoid processed foods) There are some things you can do to help remove microplastics from your body, such as taking apple pectin, zeolite nanoclay composites, and activated charcoal. However, He also says that more research is needed in this area.

This has all the hallmarks of a fear monger campaign. Remember acid rain? Remember the ozone hole? Invisible and omnipresent environmental danger that the general public has zero control over. Just wait for it; there will assuredly be some kind of push to "remediate" the problem and it will be a bargain at the low, low price of a few billion dollars... And then as quickly as the media hype around the problem started, it will suddenly fade away... This is the same play that happens roughly every decade. Because every decade there is another crop of new marks, and the previous generation of dupes have had long enough to forget and reset.

This is so sad. You can sell somebody a single metal thermos for 20 bucks, and they might have it a lifetime (if they don't lose it or badly damage it.) Or you can sell that same person 100,000 water bottles for a dollar each. Not hard to figure out why things are the way they are. The laws they pass encourage it (disposable vapes for instance). Then they do stupid things like no plastic straws wrapped in paper, just paper straws wrapped in plastic. Hearing that my body is full of microplastics was enough for me to delete at least 90% of plastic from anything that goes in or on the body. There's not a lot we can do about most of it unfortunately, and food packaging gets me the most. They sold every living creature's health for quick profits.

these are the notes that I took in case anyone wants them Inhalation: - frequently clean up dust (with wet cloths as to not stir it back into the air) - air purifiers - indoor plants that clean air - gently wash clothes/sheets at lower temperatures and spin speeds Ingestion: - avoid food that has touched plastic - don't use teflon or use metal utensils if you do - don't microwave food in plastic - don't drink from plastic bottles, particularly if they've been heated by the sun or otherwise - drink (remineralized) water from a reverse-osmosis filter - get meat, poultry, and fish particularly from high-quality sources - drink loose-leaf tea only - get milk that comes in glass bottles Contact: - avoid cosmetic/hygiene products that come in plastic - only wear clothes made with natural fabrics, particularly underwear - use bed sheets made with natural fabrics - avoid touching/using plastic things in general (cups, plates, utensils, mice, keyboards, etc.) Enhancing Detox: - eat fiber to promote regular pooping, minimizing plastic absorption via the gut - adopt practices that strengthen the gut barrier ∙ avoid alcohol, drink bone broth, get enough vitamin a & d, eat healthy, etc. - take probiotics/eat foods w/ probiotics - consume prebiotic foods - avoid antibiotics & junk food - eat apples or supplement apple pectin - zeolite nanocomposites - avoid breathing pollution - breath through your nose - sweating via sauna or exercise - stay hydrated - lymph node massages - donate plasma and/or blood Mitigating Damage: - support healthy immune system - grounding - eat antioxidants-rich foods - avoid smoking, drinking alcohol, and breathing pollution - prioritize gut health - support reproductive health

I hope this doesn’t freak anyone out. All you need to do to minimize and flush microplastics from your body is just to be healthy. For example: Eating a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and getting plenty of sleep will help deter this issue. Not saying it’s 100% but helps with minimizing risk related health issues.

This has been an amazing video! (i know that sounds AI generated but i promise it's not) I've been researching microplastics for several months now (by reading papers. im not a scientist) and the realization of how deep in the shit we are was genuinely frightening. I try to tell people of the new discoveries when a paper comes out by almost nobody seems concerned and they quickly change the topic. Obviously I'm not trying to spread panic, just awareness. Thanks for making this video. It's very well made and your focus on various studies is an excellent approach when discussing an emergent topic like this. It's a shame you published it before the brain paper that dropped like a week ago :/ I can't even imagine what kind of damage they're causing in there. Well, probably causing dementia, like the study suggests.

@@atlas4698 capsaicin has been researched quite a bit and was found to have a significant impact on health trough improvement in blood flow, decreased inflammation, vastly reduced cancer risk, overall it decreased chances of all cause deaths by more than 20% which is huge honestly. These benefits were reported for a frequency of at least 4 times a week in consumption. You should also cover glyphosate, also known as Round Up. The environment so utterly polluted with it, that it's even in rain water. It mimics glycine, which is used to make L-Glycine, and it's used in multiple protiens; one of which attaches sulphur to these forever chemicals to make them water soluble sulphates that can be processed by your lymph nodes. Edit: Also, I'd heard that button mushrooms can biodegrade even the worst of plastics. I heard anecdotes of people growing them in their compost bins, and them even breaking down entire pairs of shoes.
