you can easily put a bldc motor on that bike. HIgh speed wobble is because of the rear swing arm with one shock creates an issue with the bike flexing. It happens to old harleys and idians too.
@gabriele476
Жыл бұрын
hub motors are bldc, anyway i've read that some of those frames have rubber bushing and not full brass ones, that worn out and create play in the rear swing arm, could be the case. also wheel balance it's important

I cut a huge hole in the bottom of the frame originally to run all the wires but it also helps cool it. I’m running 72v 150amp sabayon controller. 70 amp hour battery.

I have a 72150 controller as well and mine shuts down while riding. I grabbed a oven thermometer and started monitoring temps. I was hitting around 170 degrees inside. I made a new side panel and put a fan in there and now my temps only climb to 140. Here's a video about it: kzitem.info/news/bejne/yqib12qrgKWWiYY

I think we have the same light set and same mirrors. Thought you couldn't get that light set on a 72V battery? Not without a converter at least? What do you think of mid drives? BBS02B overheats for me when I shift into higher gears. The thing about my mid drive bike I like is I get to use Tri Spoke Rims on it which have better flat protection than regular spoke sims so it makes a very efficient backup for me when I get a flat tire.

*I got basically same bike no front shake ( make sure fork bearings are correct and tight-put another tube in tire and make sure the tire inflates enough to set bead) I had to over inflate both tires numerous times! to get the tire bead to seat correctly you can take piece wire and see if rim is out of true and tire bead isn’t affecting this wobbling (100% check rim for true, then inflate tire and check if it’s seated correctly) I go 60 no problem no wobbling, my rear was the worst wobbling like crazy! but after getting tire seated and 3 days of trying to figure this out it was tire out of round from bead not seating, you may need put 60lbs air that’s only way I could get the tire to pop out I thought I was going blow tire up but it worked!,definitely big controller, I run shit out my bike and don’t overheat*

I keep wondering if the cops get after these bikes. You said the cops never bother you. is that even if you are going 50 mph ? What state are you in ? I used to live in California and I never had a bike that would go that fast, mine went to maybe 31 with 100 watts, so was never able to put that to a test, but I would have thought that maybe they would be all over me if was was able to go a fast as yours. I think your not supposed to go more than 28 mph, or have a motor more than 750 watts. Now I live in Utah and I have been thinking about getting one like yours, but even here I think that they may get me. Maybe I'm wrong.
