After WW2, there was a huge manufacturing machine that could be changed to civil products, the world needed new products, the people who before the war were unemployed due to G Depression were available & wanted to work in factories & there was a positivity about the future, unlike today.expectation today is for an easy life, no production line jobs, good purchase incomes which are not there due to government & Fed inflating the dollar to virtually nothing. The US had a Himalayan size manufacturing power house, nowhere else was !

Hi Jay/Peter Thinking about the world debt from a simplistic point of view. Surely revaluing gold at a much higher price, a value equivalent to cover the world debt has got to be the best way to reset the system without causing a huge disturbance? Surely this is the only way forward for the financial system?

The Central Banks around the world are learning the lessons committed by the US policy based on economic fallacy.

The Central Banks control the politicians and tell them what policies to put into place. The central banks are the ones who have created the global debt crisis. Governments are simply a front to hide behind.

We are not living longer, Peter, and now with the onset of the last 3 years, we may well see a severe reduction in age and reproductive potential

"Living longer" is the propaganda for pushing the retiring age further and further... This is their way to deal with the pension crisis. If you are not a billionaire that can change hearts every other month, you are not living to 100... There are many people around me dying in their 60s from overwork, stress, bad food, lack of exercise, bad medic care, etc

Peter/Jay, why couldn't the US launch the US CBDC be backed by American assets of land, gold, silver, oil, ng, rare earths, food, water, IP, military force/policing, and other assets? Rather than the idea that our currency has to be backed by gold if any asset. This would effectively spread the "Trust" of the USD and Treasuries to the US CBDC through those American assets. In doing so, wash out our $31 Trillion in National Debt in this reorganization /reset. We have not yet 'monetized' all America's major assets.
