In the past decade the PL has gone from strength to strength and will continue to do so. Instead of arguing with this ruling, the question fans of other clubs should be asking yourselves is ‘Why was my club in favour of introducing illegal rules to stifle competition and why were certain individuals at the PL aligned with it?’. In any other walk of life, this is what’s known as a cartel. The idea that City are the bad guys here is absolute nonsense. Has Richard Masters resigned yet?

You don’t really understand the ruling, unfortunately. The report states that the APT rules were largely fit for purpose except for the shareholder loan exclusion. Any suggestion that the APT rules outside of this oversight aren’t illegal is simply not true, and the PL will enforce the APT rules whilst swiftly closing said problems, making the PSR rules stronger then they were before. Any suggestion that the PL was discriminating against gulf owned clubs was shot down. Any suggestion that City have claimed a major victory is nothing but their own spin, and if City’s success rate in the APT case is consistent with the ruling on their 115/130 charges then they will still be set for an unprecedented punishment.

@@MartinRobson-wr5bm peoples opinions on these matters are so warped. What exactly should be the acceptable level of spending available to a club owned by a state? City start the game with KDB (scoles) injured .. Then Rodri (keane) gets injured . Yet 60th min he brings on Grealish (Giggs) Stones (stam) and Foden (Beckham) 😆 no way in the 90s could ferguson have made those changes while losing the other two players . A loan from a shareholder like that has to be disclosed and needs to be marked to market - the fact that the loan is made is not the issue, but those types of loans are under IFRS 9 on an intercompany basis to make sure their Adjusted EBITDA and FCF are "comparable". What financial people are asking for is for comparison not things being the same. Kevin De Bruyne and Ering Haaland get paid close to 400K a week. How can City not get access to information if they don't themselves provide information that has distorted it? Value is subjective - but hiding it and being fraudulent is different. Everton and Forest got their points deductions because of being stupid - Man City are fraudulent and has global implications for sports washing from a state.
