-TEACHER DEMO-
This lively song is from the Broadway production "Annie Get Your Gun" and is on p. 2 of Alfred's Adult Greatest Hits Level 2. The words and music were composed in 1946 by the very well-known American composer, Irving Berlin, who was born in Russia but moved to the United States at the age of five. He was also the composer of "White Christmas" and hundreds of other songs.
The rhythm of this song feels more like "cut-time" which is 2/2. (2 beats to a measure, with the half-note getting one count)
And yes, as you can see, our dog, Fletch, (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) is alive and well and testing my concentration during a recording session. :) --Norma
