Ah, Courage the Cowardly Dog. Never would have thought someone would make a game about that cartoon. Makes sense though, a perfect spooky scary game. As an aside, I think the best example of gross Nickelodeon is their cartoon series, Grossology. It literally has gross in it. 😆 Though, Mr. Meaty was THE grossest and horrifying show I've watched as a child. It traumatized me from eating meat that was not thoroughly cooked to the point it was burnt. Which is why I could I meat my mom cooked. 😆 She would burn it to charcoal! (Not really that bad but still very burnt.)

That comparison between CN and Nickelodeon is spot on. The former can do scary cartoons. They can bring psychological uncanny horror(Courage), existential horror(that one episode of Omniverse where Ben recreates the Universe), and just plain old folktale horror(just the Lich in Adventure Time). In contrast, Nickelodeon can do funny, but very adult and gross scenes, like the raunchiness of Ren and Stimpy, to the crippled images of Spongebob.

Standard CN programme - Powerpuff Girls (I'm 29 now and always wear a Bubbles necklace because she was always my very favourite) and then I wasn't keen on gross-out stuff like Cow & Chicken (though I did like I Am Weasel) so on the scary side, I was really into Courage. PPG and Dexter's Lab were my main faves and then Courage was probs 3rd, followed by Foster's Home and Ed, Edd and Eddie. I was very much a CN child, but I liked a decent amount of things on other channels. Rugrats, Rocket Power, The Weekenders, Lloyd in Space, Kim Possible for the Nick and Disney ones and then on Fox Kids (that became Jetix) it was all the anime they showed so: Sailor Moon, Beyblade and Monster Rancher. And then Pokémon on whatever channel had that (CN? ITV? Both?) and Yu-Gi-Oh on Sky One as far as I can remember. That was a nice wee roundup of the cartoons that were on on satellite between like...1998-2004? For a Scottish millenial. Ooh, and games from that kinda time - I'd like to see Search for Reptar and the Bug's Life game (tho obvs that's a bit different cause Pixar and film.)
