In this video we are comparing the Thor 4 LTV 4-12x640 and the AGM Adder TS35-384. Are 640 scopes always better? We sell both of these scopes at fallrivershooters.com. We felt like this was a good comparison showing one scope that has a higher resolution thermal sensor to a 384 scope that has superior contrast settings.
This video was taken at 29 deg F and 90% humidity. Both scopes were set to the best contrast settings. The ATN was set at "Contrast: High" and "Sensitivity: High" (the imaged looked worse in the medium and low settings). The AGM Adder was in recognition mode with "Brightness: 4" and "Contrast: 8". Both thermals were adjusted to be in focus with the cows that were 185 yards away. The house at the end is 700 yards away, the Albertsons is 400 yards away. Leave your comments below letting us know which scope you would buy if they were the same price.
