Hey everyone. I have a unique video that was supposed to be released instead of this one today but it is taking longer than usual to edit the footage together. That one is coming out at 10-11pm tonight, same time this one was supposed to come out.

Why scan the brain of the first bear? Why check for diseases? They are wild animals and they will act unpredictably, especially a young bear with not alot of experience. In the woods we are in their territory.

Because it is so incredibly rare. Especially for a black bear to be predatory towards humans. I have ran across black bears in the woods many times while out for deer. And they always run immediately away from you when they notice you're there. I even walked about 20 yards from a mom with twin cubs and she snorted stomped her feet and all 3 ran as fast as they could down a steep hill to get as far away as possible.

Such sad stories. When people see a bear they should not be feeding them cause then the bears get used to humans and the food and will bring others there. When you're out in the woods camping, go prepared to run into any wild animals especially bears that will attack you cause that's their territory. I would never go camping and I hate the woods cause you never know what's lurking around. You need to bring a gun or rifle with you when you go camping cause branches and rocks are not going to do a thing to a black bear, just annoy it more. Huge knives would be good to take also, but I wouldn't want to get that close to any wild animal to use it unless you're under attack. People need to get head smart if they are going to go camping. You're never safe, not even swimming in a lake. God Bless all those people that have lost their lives to bears or any other wild animal. 🙏

That poor baby in the first story, so sad, may she rest in peace. The man in the second story was indeed a hero whether he wanted to believe it or not, he tried and fought courageously against the bear to save his wife and the last story with the three boys is also sad but if that one boy would have been satisfied with what he caught instead of getting greedy for more fish all three would still be alive today; they were all in the car ready to leave but he had to go back one more time, such a shame.

As tragic as Esther Schwimmer’s case was, I felt sorrow for the young bear also. People stupidly accustom bears to associate them with *food,* so HOW is a wild bear to know what all our “rules” are? The fact that the bear climbed a tree indicates that it hadn’t understood what had happened, and was terrified…Besides, *why* would Esther’s mother make sure her two older, less absolutely helpless children were inside and safe *before* checking on the infant in the stroller?!?!?!?

Makes me so sad and so upset. it was just a baby, looking for food in the only way it knew how… and it was up a tree. I know it had just tried to eat a baby, but it was not a threat at the moment they could have tranquilized at.

Are you simple?? A mother with THREE young children, attacked by a bear. And you're sat there being all f@t and stup1d, and you're judging her strategic decisions!! The stroller subliminally gave her a false sense of security. Kinda like your f@t @ss hiding under a table if godzilla was coming after your twinkies. Also, a 2 and a 4 yo are not "less defenceless", but in fact much more at risk, because not only are they completely defenceless, but they are also moving and making noise, which triggers a predator's hunting instincts, unlike a baby, hidden away sleeping. Even deer instinctively do the same. They try to save their babies from bears by making them sit still in high grass, while mum runs in the opposite direction, in order to get the bear to follow HER. Also, if the faith of the bear makes you so sad, go hug his family. We go into the woods and break their rules and we get killed. They get killed if they break ours. And that's that. Yes, we have guns and the bear only has teeth and claws. We are to bears what bears are to deer. Simple as that. We are the Apex predator of the planet, and like ANY apex predator we will kill anything that threatens us, no extenuating circumstances.

I was working as an assistant forest ranger in the eastern high peaks of the Adirondacks when the Catskills story broke. Our job entailed five days camped in the backcountry , all summer , and I saw plenty of black bears. I heard a lot stories too about close encounters folks had with them. Not one time did anyone ever get harmed by them. I do believe the bear smelled food on the baby and was checking it out. I never felt unsafe camping , I still work in the high peaks but now in a remote outpost. I love this channel and appreciate the way you tell the stories. I just wanted to put in my two cents about my 16 years of experience working in the Adirondack wilderness ❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. I even had a bear flip my rent over while I was out hiking , looking for food , and I slept in the tent that night 🫠

John Chapter 3 v 16-18 KJV For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life. v17 For GOD sent not HIS SON into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through HIM might be saved. v18 He that believeth on HIM is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten SON OF GOD. Luke 15 v7 v 10 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. v10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of GOD over one sinner that repenteth. *How*--would someone *please* explain to me--does a black bear, a wild animal, “pile the bodies together in a CYNICAL fashion”?!?!?!?!? I wasn’t aware that bears could be cynics, or people who find a kind of dark, philosophical humour in the awful turns of fate to which life can often be subject…… Might the script writer have confused the word “SINISTER” with the **obviously incorrect** word “cynical”?
