Zingerman’s Deli in Ann Arbor, Michigan absolutely belongs on this list. It’s not any ordinary deli but a not so hidden gem that goes to extraordinary lengths to source ingredients from around the world. Katz’s definitely belongs first up on the list though, as does Langers. But Zingerman’s is not to be missed.

For those of us in Las Vegas, the one to go to is The Bagel Cafe. Excellent food, bakery, no long lines when you're hungry.

Yes I agree, they knew she was coming and it was time to show case a bigger sandwich on tv to get people in. We had a business down the street from Canters, small world.

I loved Canter's Deli in LA. If they are open they deserve a spot on the list.

I've eaten at Harold's for over 30 years. 12 egg omelettes, matzoh balls the size of softballs, and layer cakes well over 14" tall. I"m not even mentioning the humongous sandwiches and all the accoutrements. It's a Ripley's Believe It Or Not type of place.

Houston has a Katz’s on a street called Westheimer and I only went there once because it is crazy busy at lunch. I was staying at a hotel nearby during Harvey in 2017 and I went there for dinner…it took them 30 minutes for a to go sandwich, at 8PM (it was worth the wait but).

Have you ever been to Chompie's Deli in Arizona? They are a family business simce 1979. Their portions are huge, as named Mike high sandwiches. My favorite is the pastrami. They also have fish, breakfast and a bar. Delicious.

I lived in NYC 30 years, lived right around the corner from Katzs . I went there once. I never understand the need for that much meat on a sandwich . Making a giant sandwich isn't really an achievement and eating it isn't either. Half that amount of meat be just a tasty and filling.
