Ugh, with some the struggle Is real. Mitrata died before we could even get to know one another. Shepherdii hates me, variegated multiflora wants to unalive itself even in the best possible conditions. Sadly, I also killed my first spartiodes in record time. I did purchase a larger plant and so far, so good! Honorable mention goes to linearis, I love her and she also hates me.
@BasiePlants

Mitrata is okay for me :) But she is sometimes slow... Shepherdii... I don't like how she looks to be honest, maybe I will give her a trim and root more cuttings in the same pot, but she is an okay grower. Variegated multiflora does well here but she started to branch out for me and then drop every leaf on that new branch for reasons known only to God knows who xD My spartioides lost the roots but we are on the road to recovery :D I am very glad about tha because I love it and it is not easy to find. Linearis, I killed. Oooops.

Well, I am watching this video again because I just bought Hoya medinillifolia and needed all the advice i can find, and I was surprised to hear all about sammannaniana, I did not remember about your bad experience with this "being" from when I saw this video last year. Since then, I can say I have a lot of good experiences with hoya sammannaniana, from flowering, to propagating a lot of cuttings and trellising, and easily recovering from root rot during the winter. What can I say, I am lucky? it cannot be that we have very different environment, since I live very close (in the neighbouring country Romania), high humidity and cold during winter, relatively dry heat during summer. Lucky me then :D Maybe I will bring you a propagation from my mother plant if we pass through Serbia during a family road-trip.

You are just naturally funny 😁 I did acquire the Peninsularis not too long ago. Can't say much about it as of now. It has started several grow points, but also killed off the first leaf it tried to push out. So that's that 🤷♀️ I would like to add the miserable being that was sold to me as Campanulata. Jesus, a creature that had less will to live has yet to be found. The plant is slowly dying, then growing a bit and dying back again. Yellowing leaves in between and after over a year not taller than 15cm. I might have started out with a bigger cutting than the miserable thing I now have. It has till the end of autumn to get its sh*t together or it'll end up in the dumpster. Seriously ☹️

@@BasiePlants why should I be sticking to a point? I hear all you say/warn. But see that becomes a challenge for me to overcome. I’m not a sadist I’m not doing all of the Hoyas you’d said not to do, just one. 🫠

So funny video 😂😂😂 not because your struggles! I dont enjoy the pain! Just because you have great sense of humor and how to grow hoyas different way? Not posible! Especialy when they are evil 😅😅😅 And that storm outside was just like in movie clip, supercell breaking windows and taking roofs off 😱 -but no, Miro is making a video and he can't stop filming!!! 😅😁

Hahaha :D It was the supercell! I didn't know it then, but if I had, I actually probably would have stopped filming xD

I prayed to God that Rintzi wouldn't be on this list😂 how evil I ordered a slice of this hoya yesterday. Well, nothing. At least a year will grow for me😂

Maybe it grows for you well! My plant grew SO much in a year and then it misteriously dropped almost all leaves - never saw that growth on her again 😅

I think there are many reasons why my Hoyas don't like me; there is a reason.😅
