Interesting. I think I'm more of a palm gripper, but regardless, trying out a mice to see whether it's comfortable to use is very important, from what I learnt in this video. However, some of these mice are not commonly sold in the mass market, especially in some regions. Razer and logitech are generally more commonly found in shops, compared to something like pulsar or lamzu or ninjutsu. You can easily find them online, but every time I buy a mouse, I don't get to try them out and end up needing to fit my style to the shape of the mice. I hope more of these mice can be more commonly found in tech shops in the future

Best mouse shape analysis, really useful. I have mice from three different price categories and different shapes: Razer Viper V2 Pro, Fantech Aria and Ajazz AJ199 and as an average user I did not notice any significant difference in performance. As for the shape: I would like the Razer to have a slightly higher hump pulled back; for Fantech that it is a little narrower on the grip; for Ajazz that it is a little wider on the grip. But after a few days of getting used to it, everyone was doing the job. Claw grip user, hand 18x10cm.

Weight makes a difference but I think way too many people think they're good enough for it to REALLY matter. That and the weight thing is really only for competitive shooters. If you're playing other games then a lot of other mice really outshine these ones. The G502X is the jack-of-all-trades and is my personal choice as well. I'd probably use the Roccat Kone XP over it if the Kone didn't have squishy side buttons. The Glorious Model I would probably be a contender too if it tilt clicks on the scroll wheel. I envy people who can live with just the 2 side buttons because I absolutely hate having to do everything with my keyboard hand 😂

This might be the first time I've heard anyone say that the Viper doesn't feel great since all I've heard about it is that a ton of people seem to love the shape and even the Viper Mini has been held in high esteem since it came out to the point that it developed its own cult following. Then again, I haven't owned it so I wouldn't really know, just surprising. Btw, I highly recommend the Cooler Master MM712 anyone who wants a smaller mouse. It's similar in width to the Sora but a bit shorter in length and has a slightly higher hump. It's also very well-priced, at least in where I live (got it around $58 when converted to USD,) plus optical switches for virtually no double-clicking problems.

For me the best gaming mouse still is the razer viper ultimate. Only reason for that is because its a wireless lightweight gaming mouse useable for left handed people. Most of these "ultralight 60-40 gram" mice ditch the ambidextrous design so they spare the internals for side buttons on the right side and lessen the weight doing so. And since left handed gamers are a minority we dont have many options if we dont play with our non dominant hand. Especially in the wireless market.

Been using it for a few years so now I was looking to see if there were any new better options. A bigger mouse would be nice since my hands are quite big. Similar performance is more than enough for me, but also similar battery life would be best. If you need something for some reason, you need it. A mouse is a peripheral, so it makes the connection betweem person and machine, hence its quality, technical adequacy and comfort greatly affect the perceived user experience. The choice of what to buy is even more important, if you spend hours in front of the screen on a daily basis, in which case, it really doesn't worth/make sense cheaping out on it. And you are not stuck with anything. You CHOSE to be stuck with sub-par stuff for your preferences. I would buy something actually awesome instead. Pulsar X2 mini, Lamzu Atlantis Mini, Ninjutso Sora, Xtrfy MZ1 Wireless, Xtrfy M42 Wireless, G-Wolves HSK series, G-Wolves Hati S Wireless, G-Wolves HTX, Finalmousr Ultralight X Small, Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition, or even the Razer Orochi V2 with Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA battery (this battery weights only 7,5 grams), just to name a few options for fingertip users. There, I justified it for you.

Lol at this list. Razer Viper V3 Hyperspeed and Deathadder V3 wired are literally the best mice on the market, in terms of value of price and tech, yet both aren't listed. (granted Deathadder V3 is wired, but no excuse for Viper V3 Hyperspeed.) We need more extensive reviews not just biased opinions

The viper V2 pro is a super weird mouse it needs to be held at like a 15° angle in hand along with a relaxed fingertip grip to be held properly

possibly because of the curve on its sides. i use claw grip and there is no noticable inclination, but when i switch to fingertip grip, i do find it turning counterclockwise a little bit

Just buy the LiPo batteries separately? Straightforward replacement as well, similar steps to replacing mouse cables with paracord ones. These mice are aimed at enthusiasts, and they like to mod their gear. Which usually entails replacing the stock LiPo battery for smaller one (lighter) & changing switches, encoder or skates (feel). Unscrew, open the shell, disconnect the connector & remove the old battery. Install new battery & plug the new connector then close the mouse back.

@@keponen331 I just answered your point though, these batteries can be changed & fairly easily at that. Besides a screwdriver, at most you will need replacement mouse feet but unless said battery is defective, you're not going to replace it every other month. While I agree on battery mods, like NiMH rechargeables or even lightweight Lithium dry cells- they can't really compare to LiPo. They suffer from voltage spikes/drops under load, thus you have to design/use battery-efficient sensors & circuits to combat the issue. Performance & new features (4kHz polling, Motion Sync, etc) play second fiddle then since convenience (and the limitations it brings) is prioritised. This drives cost up, but doesn't offer a lot to the consumer besides convenience. That's why AA wireless gaming mice are few and far between (G305, G603, Orochi, Deathadder X Hyperspeed..) Then again, these LiPo powered wireless mice haven't been out that long. Only time will tell if they end up in landfills..

@@DavisSgt LiPo mice last about 2y, then they lose capacity. i've had many. Im an enthusiast, had gaming mice since they 1st came out in 2005. But I wont buy sketchy ALibaba batteries just to fix planned obsolesence. Eneloop Lite is 19g and has 2000mAh compared to pathetic 500mAh LiPo

Do not get Razer Viper V2 Pro. Worst experience I have ever had when it come to a gaming mouse. I got the Viper V2 Pro in October of 2022 and before that my first mouse was the Logitech Superlight. it was good for about 6 month or so before I had issues with the dongle where the connection kept falling through and eventually it died and never worked again, so I got it RMA’d they sent a new dongle and it’s been working fine connection wise since then. Now my only issue with the Razer mouse is the encoder that they use for the mouse wheel it needs to be constantly cleaned for it to work properly and i never had such issues with the superlight; only issue I had with the superlight is that battery inside wasn’t glued properly so I had to glue it myself.

If we ignore the price, the Razer Viper mini SE has to be a contender. The build quality is second to none (as long as there are no factory defects) and the tech is top notch. I get that a lot of people can't look past the price, but as someone who is on the computer all day as my career, it's well worth it. I would say that the same goes for pros.

@@mytommy That may be true, but It can be said for any mouse. You can say that about any mouse on this list. Also, the SE is the same shape as the viper mini, which is one of the most popular and widely loved small mice.

@@HillsSeesYou i used to own a G502 and G403 Wireless (G703 without the Hero sensor) and they performed fine, but the switches bugged me out like crazy, and build quality is not the best.
