My advice is don’t wait for special occasions to wear nice clothing. Monday to Thursday it’s okay to use that t shirt to stay at home but on the weekends if you go out wear that nice shirt/pants combo you always push to the wall. One day it will not fit you and that’s when regret will knock your door. By the way, I see the Wolverine issue in the back and i salute you.

Basically buying anything you see in a fashion magazine. By the time the magazine is published you're going to be competing with other people flocking to buy the same thing so it will be overpriced and probably not available in the colors and sizes that suit you. Not to mention that these magazines focus on transient styles that will be out of date in a few months as they move on to the next new thing.

So about 3 weeks to a month ago my sister wanted to buy a pair of sunnies. So I took her to Sunglasses Hut. While there I noticed they had the Ray Ban/Meta shades there. I asked about the styles and they mentioned that it only comes in that one style. For me that was a turn off. I would have liked to see them in other styles but apparently they haven't reached that point yet. On another note you mentioned something about the different trends. I have always paid attention to the current fashion trend but I have always felt like it didn't fit my style. Thank you Mr. Centeno for your time in putting these videos up. I have applied some of your advice to my daily life. Some people have asked me "Why are you dressed like this, you don't normally dress like that?" I normally respond with "It's not for others that I dress the way I do, it's for me."

There are several larger purchases I've made in the past few years where I could have just went for the cheaper clone or counterfeit but I chose to save and buy the real thing. Never buy a fake watch is a very useful advice. Many fall into the temptation. I just bought an Apple Watch Ultra 2. It has a much longer battery life. I bought it mainly for security - it’s good to always have a phone/GPS on you, in case you have some sort of emergency. My phone is usually but not always on me, and even if it is on me, it’s always good to have a backup. I purchased two pairs of stainless steel 3-link bands, so it looks more like a traditional watch aside from the face. If I want to wear a traditional watch for style reasons, I might wear the Apple Watch, without the band, in my pocket.
@ahastar1141

I've stopped buying new and started buying discounted clothes or visiting thrift stores. I'm wondering if I should consider some sort of shapewear, not to look thinner and vainer, but to hold myself together into a consistent shape after losing a lot of weight and having loose skin since I haven't been able to add muscle. It's weird, I'm back to the near the same weight I was when I got out of the Marines and into college and my first job, and yet none of the suits I had for that 20 lbs range fit quite right even though I'm right in the middle of that range.

0:00 🤯 The collaboration between Crocs and KFC with a bucket design and fried chicken charms went viral, but many buyers regretted paying full price for a novelty item. 0:45 🕰 Omega and Swatch launched the Moon Swatch, generating a lot of hype. However, many buyers felt disappointed with the quality compared to an Omega Speedmaster. 2:03 🔗 Brand collaborations like Louis Vuitton and Supreme, or Alexander Wang and H&M, create a lot of hype and high resale prices, leading to buyer's remorse. 2:37 🧥 Clothing that doesn't do its job, like sweaters that don't keep you warm or summer jackets that aren't breathable, causes disappointment. Choosing the right materials is key. 3:27 👔 Flimsy shirt collars that don't frame the face well don't give an elegant look. Using devices like Slick Collar can improve the appearance without buying new shirts. 5:13 ⌚ Buying fake watches might seem like a good idea, but it causes discomfort and worry about being caught. It's better to save for an authentic watch. 6:57 🧥 Buying clothes for an ideal body and not the current one often leads to regret. It's better to buy clothes that fit well now and not rely on future adjustments. 8:09 👖 Extreme fashion items, like very skinny or very baggy jeans, can lead to regret. It's important to know what suits your body type and stick to it. 9:04 🥿 Cheap clothes and shoes might seem like a good idea, but quality matters for comfort and durability. Investing in high-quality key pieces is better. 10:31 📱 Tech-heavy clothing and accessories, like the Apple Watch, can disappoint if they don't meet practical expectations. It's wise to wait until the technology is stable.

I wish I could buy dress shirts that fit, but I have odd proportions so with out any exception, they all have to go straight to a tailor for adjustment and darts. So I guess lucky me, I can buy those budget/clearance shirts with out regret. But unlucky me, my shirts are all end up being more pricey then for other people. Same with pants, blazers, etc. Well, good thing I don't have to dress sharply/formally all the time... It gets expensive quickly But even casually, I wish I could buy things off the rack that fit better because I hate wearing il fitting clothes (which is 95% of the time). :-(
