I'm glad you opened this up to show the quality here. Very fine cables!

If you haven't tried blue jean cables, I can highly recommend them.

I can certainly try some. However, those are 75 ohm video cables, which I have not found spectacular for any audio yet. But sure, worth a try. In the meantime, I highly recommend the WBC Gotham cables.

@@stereoazimuth if you look at their additional options you can get the non 75ohm options

There is NO audible difference in various cables. Manufacturers would like you to think there is (monetarily wise) with all sorts of claims and exotic materials. But if it cannot show results on lab test equipment . . . then it ain't there. Audiophiles would rather be burned at the stake, than consider they are imagining sounds. If there is no supporting evidence for their claims, it's a flaw in the methodology of their test. [[ No set of ears even comes close to lab equipment ]]. Ditto for re-capping (except for Electros );AC power conditioners, Breaking In components, and the glories of Tubes. There's no end to the nonsense people are claiming.

If you are that much of an objectivist, then my videos are not for you. Good day.

You're really not being fair........................ It's taken me quite a while to get to certain audio truth. Presumably this video is entertaining, yes, but also informative. Who's your audience though? Anyone willing to spend 24 minutes.......... doesn't just have a passing fancy for a one box (no patchcords required) audio solution. They want, at least, some componentry with the best possible sound. Right? To the serious audio newbie, your headline; "These Are the Only Cables You Need" is wholly untrue to us, the more experienced folks. The entire RCA class of patchcords are demonstrably inferior to XLR. A $25 XLR outperforms a $10,000 RCA. It's just the truth. So much MidFi and above is available with XLR now. So start here and just avoid the whole RCA thing right from the get-go, If your going to start a decent system today, begin with a Balanced Volume Control, either an ALPs Type Japenese potentiometer or the step-based relay like Schiits. Then build out. For all the money you'll save on RCA, you can buy better pieces. 🔈🔉🔊

Nice rant. Cables have been measured and at moderate distances RCA is perfectly transparent. As is XLR over longer distances. This video highlights build quality etc. A ton of amazing sounding gear is SE as well and just because something uses XLR and is balanced doesn't mean it is necessarily better.

@@nickp4836 "Nice Rant", Thanks. It felt pretty good. The video is fine as long as the presentation states RCA is more expensive and inferior to XLR from the get go. LQQK, tell me if someone you know wanted to put together a decent system and didn't already own RCA components. Wouldn't you steer them to XLR components to start? They're widely available now. Doesn't it just make plain ole' common sense? The noise that comes through a 12" long RCA patchcord, especially when it's nested in with a dozen other cables, is audible. I know you agree with that. Spending $200 on it is ridiculous when a cheaply made $6 junk XLR at 20 feet is virtually noiseless. Spend the $200 on better components instead, of course. Newbies could watch this video and come away the thought that budgeting some serious coin for cables is just par for the course. And it's not. There is a better way. Spread the word. 🔈🔉🔊
