Still hoping most of these will be in Ark 2!

With the whole NDA thing, I do wonder if it was just coincidental that he posted these at around the time the development of ark was winding down for ark 2, maybe it was a thing that he would be allowed to post it once they were done adding content? Maybe ark was always meant to end development in 2022? Or maybe it's just a coincidence and he just felt like posting it today lol. Would definitely be cool if it was the second option, as it would mean more insight to wildcard's development process.

2:13 This creature is actually a Cranioceras, confirmed by Dave himself. It’s typically depicted as pronghorn/antelope like in paleo art, and I would’ve loved to see it in game. Having herds of these sprinting at high speeds would be fun to see. 2:45 This is a Gigantoraptor, the person who left a replay was referring to the gorgonops. It was actually massive, and the biggest member of the oviraptor family. So in game it likely be bigger then an allo and maybe even the height of the rex. I’ve literally wanted this creature in game since I started playing, damn shame it didn’t make the cut. 8:16 Again confirmed by Dave that’s a Tianyuraptor, a small raptor species from prehistoric China. It looks cute, and I would’ve wanted to see it but I guess we already have a few small raptor type creatures in game. 8:38 Once again already confirmed by Dave, this is a Siats Meekerorum, a large theropod from prehistoric Utah. It was very large, but actually a bit smaller then a rex so I’m assuming in game it would’ve been bigger then an allo or Yuty size. Would’ve still loved to see it.

During the boss fight it had the swarms spawns and other insects that spawned as adds. It was scrapped partially because the devs agreed they already had a "bug" boss back on the Island (the Broodmother)

Syntac! You should use your prosperity to ask for a Cutting-Room Floor mod for all these poor abandoned creatures. If for no other reason then to see you struggle with them in new play throughs xD Side notes: That weird deer kinda looks like a mix between a Pronghorn and an Elk. If it wasnt for the horns and tail, Id say its pretty close to a Cambaytherium Thewissi (an early anscestor to horses, rhinos, and tapirs that live in parts of India/Asia). Perhaps even a Kyptoceras. -That first insect looks like a prehistoric version of a Giant Wetas (which is something similar to a cricket). The companion swarm insect just looks like a terrifying mix of a mosquito and wasp xD -That unnamed feathered raptor-like dinosaur you said may be a Velociraptor, turns out might not necessarily be as such. Ark takes liberties with its art and creatures of course, but based on the sharper pointed beak it points to it more likely being a cousin of the Velociraptor more like the "Overoraptor chimentoi" found in Argentina. -The thing that looks like a Carch after that 'may' be a type of Rex, or back to the point of Ark and its artistic liberties, *The* T-Rex. If you remember in the Dossier the Rex we have in game is in fact NOT the T-Rex, but something else. -I really like all the unused 'mythical creatures' and wish we got them too :(

2:43 That's a gigantoraptor. An inostrancevia is a species of gorgonopsid, that comment was referring to the second creature in the post. Basically the gigantoraptor is like a T. rex sized oviraptorid (though obviously not as bulky)

Deer is probably synthetoceras, the salamander is probably koolasuchus, and the second large carnivore shown which some people refer to them as theropods is probably the tarbosaurus in case anyone is interested to look them up.

Actually Dave confirmed that the deer like animal is Cranioceras, a small deer typically depicted as pronghorn/antelope like in paleo art. Sythetoceres was a much larger animal and had a different horn shape, almost similar to a big Y. Easy mistake to make tho prior to him confirming it I had no idea what is was, still would’ve liked to see it in game, hope it’ll be in Ark 2. The salamander is koolasuchas, and the theropod is actually Siats meekerorum, a large theropod from Utah also confirmed by Dave. Again would love to see them all in game.

Kinda wish that they added these in the last update, would've been fun for them to finally give these creatures their time to shine, what a shame.

3:22 this thing is nightmare fuel - i could 100% see this thing being an ambush predator, enountered in the redwoods (because for some strange reason, ark likes spawning all the dangerous shit in the redwoods - at least in my game).

Not sure about the deer like mammal syntac was unsure about but I am positive the thing that looks like a giant oviraptor is a gigantoraptor! Look it up it is epic! Like a tyrannosaur sized oviraptor also Gorganops? Epic! And the Koolasuchus is cool! I remember it from the old walking with dinosaurs series!

You know that 11:59, I honestly thought it kinda looked like a thorny dragon at first, but when Syntac said probably a Magmasaur, it made more sense.

Karkinos is a name from mythology (Greek iirc) referring to a giant crab monster so that easily could’ve been the original idea for the Karkinos. No idea what the person was talking about at 2:53. Inostrancevia is a Gorgonopsian species. That looks more like maybe a Gigantoraptor? Or some other kind of Oviraptorid of some sort. Point being it’s NOT a Inostrancevia. That next one definitely is. 9:05 *Tarbosaurus* and *Torvosaurus* are two very different animals. XD One is a close relative of Tyrannosaurus from Asia, the other is its own large theropod from the Jurassic that iirc lived alongside Allosaurus and Stegosaurus. 10:55 Definitely a concept for the Nameless! If you go into the game files and look at the Nameless, you’ll actually find they are called “Chupacabra” in said files.

Inostrancevia were Gorgonopsids, and so do not relate to the image at 3:00 I agree with other comments saying that it is likely a Gigantoraptor. They would have made an excellent addition to ARK! Gigantoraptors could be almost 30 ft long, and were related to Oviraptors, meaning they would be egg stealers, BUT you'd be able to ride them, instead of needing to whistle and hoping that you didn't get mauled/ burned to death by mom before you got away.

8:37 That's a Majungasaurus, you can tell from the small bump on it's head. It's related to carnotaurus, and is about the same size, meaning it would be pretty useless if somebody could just tame a carno instead. I see why they didn't put it in, but I love carnivores like metricanthosaurus, allosaurus, ceratosaurus, carnotaurus and majungasaurus, and wish they did put it in.

I'm really glad they didn't add the hive, bugs are already very annoying and I'm guessing this turned into queen bee as she spits minions at you too. That chupacabra is either nameless or ravager and the manta thing probably the desert titan and that wyvern reminds me of the lotr wyverns!
