@countryman6412 I rarely look at comments but perfect timing, I'm making money so far. I'm almost 700 FICOd across the board but stagnation. Nothing is going to raise it now but time because my credit card game is strong. I got Stellarfi 6 mths in and they report every payment as an increase. So if you pay all your bills or whatever is allowed they report the total mthly. They've technically got the best racket because everything you pay ups your reported balance. I bank with Chase and they gave me my first cards and propelled other offers, they also balance increase as promised. I get my FICO Experian through Boost, Equifax from MyFico and Transunion through Discover.

There is no set number of points because there are too many factors that decide how and why your credit score changes. The positive payment history is what helps your score. Yes, once you make your last payment, Self will close your account because the credit builder loan will be considered paid in full. Sorry for the late response, I'm just now seeing your comment. I recommend you to open a credit builder loan once you no longer have any open personal loans but in the mean time, focus on revolving accounts. You need to add at least 1 new secured card if not 2 to really help boost your scores while keeping the balances low. Credit Mix is often overlooked but it really impacts your real scores (FICO) not what credit karma is showing you. Check out this video where I detailed 5 great credit builder CARDS that will truly help you boost your scores: kzitem.info/news/bejne/xZV4p2Z7m5uWq20

Which brings me to my next point.. you should be monitoring your FICO scores not Vantage 3.0. You can only get but so far using free credit monitoring sites like CreditKarma. If you really want to improve your credit, make the small monthly investment to monitor your Industry standard credit scores which can be done using MyScoreIQ, MyFico, or Experian.com.

Does a self credit card count as a tradeline towards getting a house
@KelvinMcNeil

Yes, it’s a primary Tradeline. In fact, if you get the Self Visa secured card it’s reported as a 2nd Tradeline in addition to the credit builder loan.

With these credit builder accounts, can you pay more than your monthly payment agreement to pay off the loan quicker?

No. The point is to make on time payments in consecutive months for a year or better to build credit. Paying it off early would defeat the purpose.

As mentioned in the video I wouldn’t recommend signing up for all of them. It would be overkill. Your credit score doesn’t improve the more loans you have. If you don’t have ANY loans, at the most 2 of these are necessary.

On the initial kikoff account $5 a month that reports a $750 credit limit., how does that reflect utilization?
@KelvinMcNeil
Жыл бұрын
The $5 monthly subscription doesn't impact your utilization. It's essentially just the fee to report the trade-in itself. Your balance doesn't increase or decrease if you only use the 1st product.

The only thing that would impact utilization is the Kikoff Credit+ Cash Card. I can admit, it can be confusing at 1st which is why I broke down the differences between Kikoff's 3 products in this video. Hope this helps!
