This was done during quarantine and they had to put up their own backdrops in their homes and they do have a sense of humor. They all range in height from about 6'2" to 6'4" tall Austin ( High tenor) is the shortest and Rob (Beard and glasses) the tallest.

I love this! One of my favorites. This was during Covid so they weren’t even together and yeah the heights are all messed up. Rob isn’t 6’8” but 6’4”. The others are between 6’1 1/2” to 6’3”. Yes, I thought a lot of the sounds were train related, like the train whistle, wheels, smoke puff sounds?? It’s so clever. Yeah Tim can go really low. We think Tim did the crime, Adam (beatboxer) belongs in the insane asylum and the others are accomplices. Haha. Yes, you definitely have a bass voice, so does Tim. He says to practice your higher ranges to get lower. At least that’s what I heard. He’s helped Geoff of VoicePlay and Avi Kaplan formerly of Pentatonix go lower. Good reaction Anthony!🥰

Home Free started in 2000 and was the vision of Chris Rupp, so he and Adam started the group and have been performing professionally since early 2000s. They won season 4 of The Sing Off and have only had one member change since then. Chris left in 2016 and was replaced by Adam Chance (Chance). Adam learned drumming so he could be more authentic. The a cappella world changed with the beatboxing... Voice Play is great; they're very theatrical. Pentatonix also won the season before and has a much more pop flavor. If you want to work on your bass, which you do quite well, Tim says you work on the high notes along with the low ones to improve your bass. I think he has a class out there somewhere. Love your reactions... can't go wrong with Home Free. There's a video called 9 to 5 Breakdown which is awesome...they all beatbox...not the official video, but the concert performance.

Hay AR, good start to my day...The beatboxer, he looks like a crim😆This a capella is genius, the setting, the simplicity of each individual show casing their vocal ability, the song choice, I love it. Johnny Cash was one of my dads favs, but dad had an operatic-flavored voice, huh! I know, but they could sang. It's funny these guys can train you, your bass is already crazy, but I've heard snippets of other exceptional vocals there. Just being real. Anyway enjoy the journey and your day...Bless 👍☝️🖼☝️🎇🤓

If you feel like you need some voice lessons, go for it, because you have a very wonderful bass voice. Would love to hear you sing. Tim can teach you how to control those really low notes with vocal quality! Home Free is my favorite of the groups that have made a cappella so new and great over the last decade. They are all fabulous, but I find the diversity and virtuosity of this group addictive, and they are all genuine, generous, and ready for some humor. They are probably already aware of your channel, because they pay attention to their fans and followers.

You noticed that the rhythm replicates the sound of a train rolling down the tracks....the high sung pitches could be a "Train Whistle".... I agree that Tim is the GOAT of basses, so I hear you! HOWEVER, I must give credit where credit is due. Anthony got pretty darn close to Tim's note there. He was only maybe one or one and a half-steps away in the scale from reaching it, and with practice, he could probably get it. The thing with Tim, though, is that he can maintain good vocal fold closure and clarity on those low notes. Not many basso profundos can do that. At least for me personally, it's not just how low he sings. It's his ability to control it, sustain it if he wants to, and his ability to go ahead and nonchalantly throw a vocal run in there when it's fitting. His vocal control at that low range is rare and astounding.
