I have made the tator tots and if you take your mixture, place it on a piece of parchment paper and then roll it up into a log shape the size you want for your tots and then let them chill in the fridge for about an hour to firm. Take them out, unroll and slice into desired length. Viola, nice uniform tots without having to form each individual tot. :)

So I tried something interesting as my Son loves his hasbrowns. I like Kohlrabi as a substitute for Potato, so I thought about it and grated a whole kohlrabi, mixed in spices, a little almond flour & parmesan cheese, (no egg) and then in my chaffle maker put a layer of mozz cheese, let it melt then put my kohlrabi mixture and put more mozz cheese on top...let it cook for 10 minutes...super important or until crispy. cool on rack, put sour cream and chives and serve up with breakfast or whatever. It comes out like a cheesey potatoe latke. Maybe some of you may enjoy this. I didn´t use all of the Kohlrabi, but I did blend it all at once and put the left over in a bag to keep in the fridge for quicky hasbrowns.

I found a great recipe for keto pizza crust 😋 so easy and only 3 ingredients! 4 eggs 8 Oz of cream cheese and 3 cups of mozzarella cheese I soften the cream cheese and then put in the 3 eggs and mix with the stick blender then add in the 3 cups of mozzarella cheese. No need to melt the mozzarella cheese just add it in after mixing the eggs and cream cheese. Then spread it on a cookie sheet with parchment paper and put it in the oven for about 8 minutes on 425° that's it! I sometimes make it in the early afternoon and then add my stuff for the pizza on top and then bake it for another 8-9 minutes on 425 Enjoy!! I wish I could post some pictures of it! 🎉

We make a thing called bubble and squeak in England, basically left over mashed potato and cooked cabbage mixed up and cooked in a frying pan, I always loved the cabbage part so tried it with cauli mash, which works well. Mashed swede is good too. You need to steam your cabbage first, shredded quite small. Fry the onion a bit on its own then add the mixed cabbage and cauli/swede. Cook it slowly for quite a while, turn and mix a few times as it browns. I loved all things potato, but actually I now think celeriac chips (fries) cooked in the oven in avocado oil beat potato ones by quite a bit 😄

Put it in the bottom of a crockpot. Cover it with frozen meatballs and or sausage patty’s and strips of peppers. Pour an 8 ounce can of Hunts garlic, basil and oregano sauce (which only has 2 net carbs per 1/4 cup and costs less than a buck) and cook on low for a few hours. Before done cover with mozzarella cheese and finish til melts. My favorite, and totally guilt free meal!

3:34 "It's for science. We're not enjoying it." LMAO. It's really cool you got a set of cookware that you love! I just finished putting a new seasoning on my cast iron skillet, and that dude shines like glass. I'm pretty excited to start using it again.

What do you mean you put a new seasoning on your cast iron skillet? I find mine hard to clean. How do you clean your skillet?

@@ketotwins I just dove down the rabbit hole of Maria Emerich's egg white bread. There's a lot of experimenting happening in my kitchen lately (and a lot of failures). The keto science is important!

@@messengeroftruth17 I just had a thought. If you're not using a good metal spatula on your skillet, you should invest in one. I've even gone so far as to sharpen the edge of mine so that it really gets under whatever I'm cooking. Wooden utensils just aren't up to the task like metal ones are. After you're finished cooking, a splash of water while the skillet is still hot can assist in loosening everything for easier cleaning. Set the pan back on heat to dry it off completely and after that, a super fine slick of oil across it to maintain the season.

Have you tried this potato oil you can add to food, for that flavor. Anne from Keto focus used it in one of her dishes.?

K, my kiddo's love chicken nuggets. I am really looking forward to testing out those "tater tots" that apparently are kind of like a chicken nugget. :-) Quick question, did you have any left that your stored in the fridge? Do you think those "tater tots" would make a decent kiddo lunch addition at school?

So, the biggest downer on Keto for me might not be as much my considerable missing of bread and potatoes as it is the incredible amount of prep work it takes to disguise vegetables. So. Much. Extra. Work.

If you eat simply, AKA meat and veggies, its the easiest way and honestly the most successful way to do keto.

@@ketotwins Oh definitely. But much of the success of Keto for me is mental, and trying not to get discouraged about the limited food options. I'm so tired of the simple stuff, and so tired of going to a ton of work for variety but a small payoff. Honestly, it's easier to just skip the meal than do all the stuff. Which is also probably good for my weight loss...

The cookware is beautiful. We have pampered chef products. I enjoy watching your channel and appreciate your collective effort on your content. Im not big on tater tots or hash browns but I do miss mashed potatoes....thanks for trying the recipes for us. I feel like it would save me time and effort doing it myself based on your reviews. God bless.

You guys are so funny, really enjoy your videos. I wanted to share with you that there are mesh bags you can get that you can drain the liquid off of vegetables instead of using a towel and they wash up very easily. I have a set that I got off Amazon that work great. They are IAesthete 2 Pack - 80 Micron Nut Milk Bag - 12X12 Inches 6.99. So much better than using a towel.

You two are funny and remind me of myself. Lol! I’d end up making tots WAY too big but they’re gonna get eaten so…. I’ve made the riced broccoli & cheese tots and they are SO good! I’ve also made them with zucchini. My granddaughter loved the zucchini tots!
