You two are doing a great job! Just speaking from being a builder for the last 18 years. Only thing I'm concerned about is that you don't have the plumbing vent pipes going through the roof before putting the roof on. I think you're going to find it difficult to get them in after putting the metal panels on. I did see another comment on here about getting some power into the soffit areas. You might want to snake some romex wire from inside the house out to the sofits for exterior lights. Keep up the good work!!!

I have a difficult time deciding WHY, but I get the biggest kick out of watching your 'journey'. I suppose if I was forced to choose a reason, it'd be that you're building for your great, GREAT Grandchildren. I've spent my entire life in construction and I couldn't have done a better job of building a home FOR MYSELF. Believe or not, even I learn valued lessons here. AND, this is your FIRST try. WELL done. ~ Eli.

Such an awesome project, I would seriously consider cutting one of the side walls out completely ( whatever side has the best view ) Then you could have that side drop down like a draw bridge and make it a deck so you can bring the outside indoors.
