You carry on the conversation and let them speak about it more, then once they are done speaking about it, you share your story about it and then they know you actually like topic and they are genuinely surprised when they realise you also feel the same way. For the most part, I appreciate the bluntness of men towards each other and wish they were like that with women more often. I grew up fighting hard to do and say what I wanted under my parents’ roof, but it took a while for people to realize they should be blunt with me too. I remember the first times people were honest with me and of course it sucked but I valued it’s usefulness and respected their approach more than I was hurt by the embarrassment of their criticism. You very quickly learn to get over it, like ripping off a bandaid. However, I think women communicate better at times when the situation calls for more empathy or complexity. Most men I know find it hard to understand the “way women think”, and I think it’s because the reasons for someone doing something are often just as important to women as it is to the person who did it. Men will often break a scenario down into “he no-call, no-showed, therefore you aren’t his priority”, and while that’s true, women often accept the excuses of “I’m sorry, I ended up having dinner with my family and forgot to call” because they personally understand the emotional dynamic of such a situation. It takes multiple times of being blown off for a woman to see that she’s so frequently not his priority that it’s time to call it quits. I’m not saying that men never understand or act within these emotional dynamics, I’m just saying there are times when the excuses for things (or complexity of a situation) should be taken into account and there are times when you should just straight up tell a person that this is what they’re doing and they need to change if they want the consequences to change. Also, I thought he wasn’t her type but I guess I was wrong 😅

The only classes I ever had to actually study for in college was my science classes for science majors. Even with a near identical memory I would actually have to study it to ensure that I got the entire processes of the science down but on the anatomy side of things I never had to study that (besides the actual spelling of the damn medical words because it is based in Latin and if you haven’t studied Latin it’s a completely different language and pronunciations are oftentimes not the same as the spelling.). My wife and I both went back to school after we got married and would study our classes together. I was a bit ahead of her in school by a few semesters so I would help her study so she would have more time to spend with me & our families. We had to make many sacrifices where we didn’t go to every family event or if we went often it would be a quick stop by to say high and see how everyone is doing then having to take off to go study/do projects/reports. I do remember so many of the other girls in college that would act exactly like this and I was so shocked at how many girls would try to throw themselves at me (even though I would always start off the conversations with that I’m happily married so that they don’t get any ideas and unfortunately often times I would get hit on way more often afterwards. I would always tell my wife about it because the science classes where generally 75% women so I usually had 3-4 group mates that where women and occasionally it would be a split group. It amazes me how these girls would be trying to get with a married man hoping I’d leave my wife for them without the realization of that if I cheated on my wife with them what would stop me from cheating on them if we ever got together. Anyone that is ever willing to cheat isn’t someone I would be willing to be in a relationship with because I know I’d be asking for trouble. I’m just so glad I’ve had my wife for over a decade now and truly enjoy my life. There are great days and there are bad days but that is life and if you’re able to be happy with yourself you will have far more good days than bad days. Those who can’t be happy with themselves without all the extras won’t ever truly be happy with everything in the world. You will eventually get bored with doing all the exciting stuff and find out that you’re just as miserable as you where when you had nothing but now you can’t tell who are your real friends and who is there for the money/fun.

As a woman, I also think it’s annoying when women over compliment and try too hard to be polite and uplifting towards the other women to the point that they will lie about something that’s obvious for example- call you skinny when they know you’re obese. The person on the receiving end of the fake compliment can tell it’s fake. I prefer honesty over all that sugar coating shit. Like if I ask you if my outfit is tacky my feelings would not be hurt if you said yes. I asked you so that I could hear the truth. I give out compliments like candy but they’re always genuine. I’m not going to patronize someone because deep down I think they’re actually ugly/corny/ etc. and tell them stuff that I think they would want to hear. Women are too afraid to offend eachother though so we’ll never get to that level of candidness unfortunately.

As a woman with former women friends, I can tell you from experience that some women will see what you're doing wrong and let you continue if they want your man. I've had friends who were "friendly" with exes of mine and would suddenly just flip like "he's bad for you, you should do this, that and the other" then end up sleeping with him after we break up (or while we were together on one occasion) 🤣 I say that to say the women's segments aren't as insightful or entertaining because it's a whole bunch of women being fake. They'll see anoth woman mess up and encourage her to "try harder", knowing that pushing that Annoyance would damper the attraction further There's also the whole thing with SOME women not wanting to be seen as anything but ladylike in the public eye. All that "toxic" and "petty" shit they hype is exclusive for celebrities, I guess. But on TV or in the public eye, they want to portray as nice and cute and girly and helpful and caring, etc. So they pretend to be nice to the other girls, whole time they're probably comparing in their heads like "he wouldn't pick HER over me, tuh" or "damn, he may pick her over me". Some girls may be genuinely disinterested, but that just means there's a 50/50 chance they'll be REAL because we're still competitive, so even if it's not for the guy, they'll stay in for the WIN.

Speaking as someone who was a girl before there was social media: it's just a matter of being socialised to communicate differently. Women will often opt for tact and 'compliment sandwiches' because our tongues are our sharpest tools. We learn to read nuances in tone and body language... so if a woman says "I think your earrings are gorgeous. I probably wouldn't wear them to this event, but they really suit your overall look." We can hear that the real message is, "Those earrings are not suited to this occasion." We just couch it in tactful terms to make it clear that the words are not intended as an attack. Men do not typically choose words as their strongest weapons. If they want to attack, they are more likely than women to use fists, knives or some sort of projectile. They therefore don't tend to be as careful about making their words seem harmless. Men also don't compliment each other as generously as women do. This leads to awkward misunderstandings where men: a. Hear a compliment sandwich and ignore the meat. "You're such a good looking guy. I don't sleep around but if anyone could tempt me, it might be you." Does NOT mean I'd like to sleep with you. B. Hear interactions between women and believe we are lying to each other. "You guys seem so compatible!" doesn’t necessarily mean "We think he likes you." It could mean "There's not necessarily a good or fair reason why he's not into you." OR c. Feel totally blindsided when their girlfriend/ wife gets upset... because they have been expecting her to communicate like a man. That being said... when we _do_ communicate like men (Blunt. No sugarcoating. No implicit apology for disagreeing etc... ) women are often accused of being too aggressive or... masculine 🤦🏿♀️. Social media didn't invent these phenomena.
@jonathanjones635

Lol wow this was a lot. And most of it was “true” but grossly misrepresented, or perhaps misunderstood. First, your whole tone is very “women are just better” and you are completely missing the point being made. I’m the videos they are talking about, women don’t give compliment sandwiches. They just say platitudes. You are just describing tact, not women in general. Abba and Preach are often very tactful and give the benefit of the doubt. I have never heard a man get mad at a woman for being straight forward. It doesn’t happen, not in any reasonable situation. Like, a lack of straightforwardness is literally one of the most common complaints men have. Just look at any comedian that talks about asking women if they are ok, why they are mad, or what they would like to eat, just to name a few. What’s laughable is you say women are better at communicating and yet men are constantly saying these things and here you are saying “nah it’s not that.” Finally, your “I’d wouldn’t sleep with you” “compliment sandwich” isn’t a compliment sandwich. It’s a rejection at best and patronizing platitudes at worst. You are interpreting a man getting mad at that statement mad you won’t sleep with them, when in reality they are mad you didn’t just say “I’m not interested.” Men don’t fkn want to here “I would sleep with you if I slept around.” They don’t want to here “I wish I could find a guy like you.” For one, it’s an insult and shows a massive lack of awareness. Which is ironic coming from the sex that is supposed to be better at communicating. Furthermore, that’s called a Freudian slip. Or basically, hinting at what you are thinking. So basically you are actually saying, “I want sex, just not with you.” Guys don’t want to hear the fake ass compliments. You aren’t mommy trying to cheer up little Timmy. Those “compliments” aren’t sincere and are often outright lies. When you say “you are cute, I wouldn’t dare you but you are a catch”. You are literally saying “you uggo bro” You know how a guy would rather here this? Say what your type is, or better yet, say they aren’t your type, that way you don’t have to configure a lie of opposites, basically saying your type is the opposite of the dude only for you to date his exact likeness but 2 inches taller.

yeah, the normal clubs in germany close at 5am. And then there's techno clubs that are sometimes open till 11am. And after that you go to the after party whiich basically ends somewhere around 3pm. And that's just a normal midsized town in Germany, Berlin is on a whole nother level. There is one famous club that opens on friday night and closes on monday morning. (I don't know if there are others)

Fun fact: "Santiago" and "San Diego" are variants of the same name! Both come from the Latin "Sanctus Iacobus", and mean "Saint Jacob". "Iacobus" also gave us Shakespeare's "Iago", Italy's "Giacomo", and many others.

You ain't wrong about the guy based episodes. Guys just tell things how they are. Makes for good conversation, but also can make for some funny entertaining moments.

On the first date with my husband he made terrible,out of place, "that's what she said jokes". But I could see through the nerves that he was an awesome guy. We've been married for almost 4 years and have 2 children. I love him more now than ever. Men dont have to have a man's standard of "game" to get the girl. Just take care of yourself by being clean and trying to stay fit. And be yourself.

I don't see that happening. If i learned anything about these guys from all the videos I've watched is that they're clearly not interested in the dating scene anymore and even less given that it's public dating. If they come up with another video format maybe.
