0:59 "they are in situations where they have to do a lot in a very short amount of time" For those who don't follow ONF: In 2021, they starred in a web drama, had 4 comebacks, released 27 songs, 6 music videos, their own reality show, and held a concert. Then in the last days of December, the Korean members enlisted in the military. The following year 2022 while their group is still technically inactive, a new music video and a full album with 10 songs in it were released. Early this 2023, a few months before they got discharged, there's another music video and a song.

It's good to hear that producers consider their music first and not about catching up with the trend of SNS, especially when a platform seems to focus on only a portion of the songs. I rather hear the full songs and appreciate the music and think of the 30 seconds snippet as a tease.

Thank you for posting this interview, and thank you Monotree - your music made me fall in love with kpop a long time ago. I like how your still make music that reflects the why the "K" in kpop is really important, why it's beautiful and distinctive. Thank you for caring more about making good art than just following trends. ❤

Aren't they from Sweetune team?! (Basically they're the Giorgio Moroder of KPOP) They had a beef with them and created MonoTree but still uses the same music style of the Orginal Sweetune team!

really great interview, i loved the part where they talked about each other's music/artistic character - i feel like because kpop is such a huge collaboration between so many professionals, it's easy even for fans to forget that idol songs are an artist's personal creation and not something constructed by some abstract company. 2:06 this comment and answer in general also reminded me of that very cool interview RM gave for el país, the ‘We work so hard in Korea because 70 years ago there was nothing’ one - i feel like out of all the major entertainment industries, kpop is most distinctly characterised by the intense discipline/structure/hard work that goes into it, which is interesting to consider anyway GREAT CONTENT! LOVED IT👍 THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL INTERVIEW❤️
